Citroen AX 16v Turbo

A new head gasket and polyrace front rear wishbone bushes:
Racetech oil pressure/temperature gauge. This is a mechanical gauge so if there is an oil pressure problem i'll notice it. This will need welding fitting to the sump via a boss or sandwiched to the sump face:
Action shot - new wing fitted as the old one was dented:

EGT is now fitted, installed as close to the primaries as possible:
New 2.5" exhaust fitted with a baffle that can be cut and repacked to any size. I got the 4" diameter and I should have got the 5" which I might still get as it will give me a bit more sound deadening. Its also been wrapped with heat tape stuff to keep temps down as its close to a lot of stuff. Route required to steer clear from the clutch cable.

Off to get some silicone as the exhaust has changed some of the pipe routes to the rad and intercooler, mart has fitted to 2.5" inlet pipe to the inlet manifold and to make use of the forced cooling we will use 2" from turbo to intercooler. Theory is that this creates a pressure drop across the intercooler and low pressure = low temps.
Old inlet which was 2" and a bit restrictive when the pipe before it was 2.5".

The intercooler pipe from turbo to intercooler is now just 2", this means we can also keep a more direct route - it's now pretty tight!
The top hose needed rerouting as the new exhaust was in the way of the radiator inlet so we had to go up and over the exaust.
Maybe in the future i will get a one piece hose made up.

New steering wheel - buttons for overboost and launch control which can be mapped into the KMS:
New dials - i have Boost/EGT + oil pressure/temp + AFR (innovate LC1)
I ran the car in up and down the motorway, all was working well - had a problem with the oil pressure but was fine as soon as I bled the capillary. Air in the line was compressing before the pressure gauge so was getting a low reading.

After 6 hours up and down the motorway on Monday night I have decided I need better seats. The buckets are cobra monacos and not offering much comfort or a massive amount of support. Its not the cushion either, the sides were rubbing my hips so was aching really bad.
Been looking at sports recliners add they have a bit more width for my fat ass.
These fit well at the local shop, I think they are cobra daytonas:
Havent bought any yet but looking out for some - but they need to trial fit first!

350bhp
I bet that thing flies!
Well we havent had it mapped fully yet, hoping for 350 but i'll be happy with what ever we get - will be 300+ for sure.I bet that thing flies!
It should be ready by next friday once the engine is rewired and remapped.
On track the TD04 was a little better but for the road the VF35 is a good turbo. I'm hoping i can get a better spool with the improvements and see more power under/around 3k. It was spooling around 3500 with the VF35 before. TD04 was well under 2k. I still have the TD04 and may well put it back on and get a map for it for certain tracks. There's still some weight to come out of it too. So power to weight wise it's pretty impressive.
It also has almost the exact same handling characteristics as a 106 - has the same suspension/beam and floorpan but a little bit lighter to boot.
