The finished restoration on the pedal car! I wish I had this when I was a kid! Another one is sat in the garage waiting for the same treatment. However, I'll let my 4 year old son use it first, wait until he grows out of it and then restore it!
Brilliant you need to build one that you can fit in.chrisb71 said:

I think some of the pics didn't show up properly in the 1st post. Now you just need to enter that in a concourse competition...

Hi Chris Doing a similar project!! Where did you get the wheels/screen from? Did you split the car in half to get all the rust out of the seam? Any advise very welcomeBest Richard
FANTASTIC RESTORATION!!!
I found an Vanwall Triang on eBay in San Francisco earlier this summer for $500. I plan on restoring it for my grandson. He is only 18 months old so I have a while to get it finished (haven't started it yet). It is all there except for the wind screen, seat upholstery, steering wheel and knockoffs. I found the latter two items on the internet and they just recently arrived. Your photos will help a lot with the seat upholstery.
THANKS for your blog ... it gives me needed guidance and inspiration!!! I only hope I can do as wonderful a job as you did. I hope the photo shows up. It shows the Triang Vanwall next to my 1959 Elva FJ.
