Toyota need a bona fide sequel to the Supra with a stonking great engine up front, a Toyota GTR equivalent. All of this hybrid stuff, while impressive, just isn't the same.

Excellent looking car, OP! Definitely in my top 10.

Oh my, that looks simply amazing!

They really have aged well, better than any car I can think of.

Great choice on the CCW's too, I believe they are a very expensive wheel!

One of my new fave threads.

It has been hinted at I believe, a sort of trio of performance cars, two to accompany the GT86. The GT86 likely being the lowest denominator. Sounds amazing tbh.

And it would be rude to post and not compliment the OP's car.

This Supra is definitely something special. Gorgeous.

Thanks for the comments folks, I appreciate the kind words smile

I knew that the wheels would be a game changer and they didn't disappoint when I saw how the car was sitting. When the carbon bits go on it'll be even better smile

I got my first (twin turbo) Supra when I was 21. I'm recently 25 now. Insurance isn't as bad as you may imagine. Unless you've been a naughty boy of course! wink

Holy mother of...

The car is excellent! Looks perfect, amazing condition, awesome mods and my god, the power and delivery is something else!

Had a few pulls on low boost (1 bar) to get acquainted with it and then put it up to 1.3 bar (650bhp) and ooft! Sounds great, feels great, handles well and the wheels... Ace! Just ace!

Heard that the turbo would be really laggy and that I should look into other options but I love the delivery and kick of it as is! I'll be keeping it just as is for a good while! To go for any more power would require some work on the head and bottom end before even looking at turbo options. To be fair though, this turbo will see around 850 anyway!

All in all, I'm really happy with it! Had a lovely day for driving up too so couldn't have asked for much more. Even had a wee run against a GTR and also an R8. Hmm, bye bye to both as it turned out smile

Here are a few pics from an elated owner!

Those wheels are just excellent. I can't think of a wheel that would look better on that car.
