I remember this issue of Max Power
Thanks for posting, that’s the one. I still have an extra one in the cellophane unopened in the history file…..and the number plate on retention.
I can remember it because it was done for someone who owned fast lane couriers in Derby, I only lived down the road but I never saw it about. Thanks for posting, that’s the one. I still have an extra one in the cellophane unopened in the history file…..and the number plate on retention.

I have a feeling that the fabricator may have missed the measurements on the longer box and I will need to cut out for the oppliger spacer which will be annoying, it looks to be too tight where the transfer box is. I will know soon as will offer up the engine and box once I locate some missing engine mounts.

Oh man, this is what PH should be about rather than all the fluff threads ..
Supertb effort, you're obviously very handy with the spanner
Spanners I am very confident with...I get frustrated that I do not have the knowledge or the machines to do everything though...it becomes frustrating when you have to deal with some engineering / fabrication firms and I cannot afford to just send it to someone like Retro Power and to be fair I enjoy the creative work.Supertb effort, you're obviously very handy with the spanner

What a wonderful and unique Pug. I remember reading about it back in the day.
We had a new 1.9 and were dreaming about a lowly Turbo Technics conversion. This is on another level!
My friend had a 1.9 turbo technics, they were very popular but probably awful to drive on full boost. We had a new 1.9 and were dreaming about a lowly Turbo Technics conversion. This is on another level!
I see your forum name...I have quite a few 2 stroke projects / toys too!

Right up my strasse this. Lovely to see some proper high spec bits going on too.
Thanks for posting OP, good luck with your build
I want to get the car to the point that I can use and abuse it without things breaking etc...hard to do with a Cossie as the YB engine come stands for "Yes, Broken" IMO.Thanks for posting OP, good luck with your build
