Thanks for posting, that’s the one. I still have an extra one in the cellophane unopened in the history file…..and the number plate on retention.

I can remember it because it was done for someone who owned fast lane couriers in Derby, I only lived down the road but I never saw it about.

Glad you started a thread on it, i think PH is going to be a better place than PF.

Keep the photos coming please.

Paul from PJ
Hi Paul, great to see you on here. I love PF but there would be too much arguing due to the issues I had.

I think the idea was a fast delivery vehicle but expect it was a tax dodge. I have spoken to all / heard from the previous owners.

Here is a pic of the underside floor being made with mock up engine and box.

I have a feeling that the fabricator may have missed the measurements on the longer box and I will need to cut out for the oppliger spacer which will be annoying, it looks to be too tight where the transfer box is. I will know soon as will offer up the engine and box once I locate some missing engine mounts.

That is absolutely superb!

My old man had a Sapphire Cosworth when I was 18/19, reg F999FFM, which I was allowed to drive from time to time. 205's were all the rage shortly after that - I can only imagine what this must be like.

I'm following - and am very jealous!!

Oh man, this is what PH should be about rather than all the fluff threads ..

Supertb effort, you're obviously very handy with the spanner smile

What a wonderful and unique Pug. I remember reading about it back in the day.

We had a new 1.9 and were dreaming about a lowly Turbo Technics conversion. This is on another level!

Spanners I am very confident with...I get frustrated that I do not have the knowledge or the machines to do everything though...it becomes frustrating when you have to deal with some engineering / fabrication firms and I cannot afford to just send it to someone like Retro Power and to be fair I enjoy the creative work.

My friend had a 1.9 turbo technics, they were very popular but probably awful to drive on full boost.

I see your forum name...I have quite a few 2 stroke projects / toys too!

Nice! I've got a few RDs and Triples. Can't stop restoring them. How about you?

I have Cagiva Mito's mainly - one with 125, one with TZR 250 engine, one with CR500 and one ready for 350 LC...plus an Aprilia Super Moto. I restored 3 myself.

I want to get the car to the point that I can use and abuse it without things breaking etc...hard to do with a Cossie as the YB engine come stands for "Yes, Broken" IMO.
