That's how I felt. Pretty neat bit of kit for a couple of quid!

Waiting on some spacers to try the wheels, then if they fit I have to decide if I like them or not!!

That can wait for a few weeks as the car is booked in next week for its final final final mapping session (hopefully) and a bigger fuel line.

Then hopefully, fingers crossed, no more mapping!!

I can drive it as it is, but on anything more than 1/2 throttle you get neat fuel coming out of the exhaust hehe

Fuel economy on the last tank was a cracking 17.98mpg rofl

Be nice to be able to give it a bit of a run! Hopefully be a nice treat to come back from holiday to.

Still waiting on news about the mapping etc this week, they did say I should have it back this week and as tomorrow is thursday I'm hoping for some (good) news!

In the meantime I won this very cheap H brace off eBay.

Quick wipe down and some silver paint..

Doesn't need to be pretty as it'll be underneath the car anyway.

Wheels are here too, they look lovely. Not sure if they're going to fit though....

Also I do some YouTube if anyone's bothered.

Hi mate.

The brakes are great, they're really bedded in nicely. Looking forward to getting some use out of them this summer!!

Update from the garage, faulty FPR. Car still not mapped properly and waiting on an update from the manufacturer about replacing it, then I might finally have a complete and mapped car smile

Eugh. Frustration.

Garage called today to say they'd fitted a replacement FPR, this one has twin diaphragms (I think) and is a higher rated (pressure wise) so should sort the issue.

New braided fuel line is on too so we should be good to go.

Unfortunately he wasn't able to map the car as he'd run out of time, so I'm planning on leaving it on my driveway until he can do it. I don't want to blow it up!!

Feeling a bit despondent about the current tuning issue I got one of the valeters in work to give the car a mop and polish and tidy up the interior so at least it looks nice!

Great thread and a great car. Tuned cars are always a pain in the ass to get right and running properly, but it'll get there!
Did you used to run a 200SX? Your username seems familiar for some reason.

Yes I did mate, it was a long time ago now and I did love that car, it cost me a fortune though.

I know the struggle with modified cars, as soon as you change one bit you have to deal with another weak point!

Finally got the wheels on. Over the moon with the look, I think they're ace.

Sooooo close to the calipers (with a 7mm space!)

I've noticed over the last few months that the clutch has been getting harder and gear changes haven't been as smooth.

So I've bought a Stage 3 competition clutch. http://www.competitionclutch.co.uk/csindex.php?vn=...

A couple of litres of Honda MTF3 to change the oil whilst the box is out.

Also ordered some alloy shifter cable bushes to fit.

And a new upgraded steering slider too

Clutch going in on wednesday, mapping booked for 3rd June. I sincerely hope this is the last time!

Boredom whilst at work meant a new OEM oil cap was purchased as the old one keeps falling out. Removal of the lash up electrical tape being used to hold it in place was a good feeling and new shiny shiny OEM bits are good too.
