Perfect, thanks!

His door is the same size and he has about 10cm extra internal width - so it looks like an option!

Do you need to fold the mirrors in to get through the door or just drive straight in? I assume a normal human can get in and out the car and you aren't a contortionist? hehe

No need to fold the mirrors in, there's plenty of room. Also there's no issue getting out either. I have some padded door protectors on the wall which enable the door to be opened as far as the garage allows and I can get out without any problems.

Love this, these are mu favourite new car at the moment. I think I will try to get an Elise and take baby steps to this. That will allow the 350 sport to depreciate as well. Hopefully with some tartan trim!

Exhaust sounds great too.

This thread popped up again on "My Stuff" and I find myself looking at this picture and thinking what an inspired choice of colour.

Looks great Chris, I'm borrowing Lotus Silverstone's Exige demo when my 2-Eleven goes in for a service next month. Could turn out to be an expensive service if I like the car, just got to somehow justify it as the 2-Eleven is a keeper.

Trawling through reader's cars and saw this post. Just wow. This is a Lotus that is properly lusty, they need to make more like this!

With the better weather (hopefully) on the way, the Exige will start getting used a lot more.

I noticed that a nice carbon air box had been released for the car and I'd be tempted to fit one. I'm definitely one for performance over looks but it does really look good.

I've also decided to get a black front nose badge (as someone suggested) and I think it'll look better on the front.

Finally there are a few small tweaks that I'll do which will be to have the indicator ticker changed so that its audible. At the moment it's a silent tick. Also I'm going to replace the front bulbs which are quite poor on dipped beam.

I visited Classic Team Lotus last weekend and had a great tour around their old workshops. They even brought out Mario Andretti's old F1 car so that we could have some photos taken with our cars next to it.

While the weather wasn't great it was still a good morning out smile

Love the car

How wide is your garage please? Odd question. Mine is 7 foot wide.

This is on autotrader atm - I'm idly checking out Exige / Evora prices and came across it. Credit to the OP but a shame it's departing so soon!

It seems like there are a few of them in Liquid Yellow, GFWilliams of this parish also has one.

Yep, noticed they're even using Chris' photos from this thread, so imagine it's on sale or return. It's achingly tempting, that's for sure! Just too expensive for me right now. When Chris first posted it, I said to myself how perfect it was - Liquid Yellow is just amazing.

Sorry to see this has been moved on. Would be nice to have a final post from Chris, with the highlights of ownership and the reasons for letting it go.

Such a great shade of yellow, and super rare especially as Lotus are refusing to paint any more cars in this colour.
