1992 Mazda RX7 Type-R
Discussion
Ten years ago my friend and I got the cars together for a quick pic while we were out and about. I stumbled across it the other day, nice bit of nostalgia.
Unfortunately I managed to write that MX5 off but he still has the DC2, which is now a fully-fledged track car. We decided to update the shot in the same place with our current toys.

thats the trouble with the internet - post pics of your cars, house, pets, kids and others will use those pics for whatever they want... WHATEVER!!
just be careful what you post, what else is in that photobucket folder (if you used the link not the IMG code) and what you put on FB and who can see it.
its scary how many people DO NOT have any privacy set yet share their entire lives with the world

Lovely car and some great photography work there.
Good to see an RX7 on it's correct wheels, one of the best looking OEM sports car wheel designs IMO, I have a set of those on my MX6...
Thanks, glad you like the wheels too. I think me and you are probably the only ones who agree though Good to see an RX7 on it's correct wheels, one of the best looking OEM sports car wheel designs IMO, I have a set of those on my MX6...
Stock FD wheels are both light and strong because they're forged(ish) rather than just cast... or at least, they're strong after the first few batches were found to have stress cracks in them and they made the webs around the rear pocketing a bit thicker! Mine didn't even break when the rest of the car did after interfacing abruptly with unyielding scenery. It's just a shame they've got such an offset fail on them

They do have a relatively high offset don't they, it's 50mm if I recall. I could have done with them having a lower offset on my MX6 as they are 1" wider than the standard rims, I had to use some 5mm spacers so they'd just clear the rear struts.Edited by mx-6 on Friday 24th March 16:57
