Just waiting for my DRL to arrive then it can be fitted. I'll wet sand and polish when it's on the car

Certainly different! Paint match is decent.

Think I might have gone for a coat of satin black on the I/C to make it all look properly stealthy.

The new Civics also have the I/C unpainted & it makes them look a bit forgotten & unfinished to me...
I did think about it but when they start to chip they look shoddy

Looks great mate.

I sold my E46 M3 recently to fund a new mom-mobile for the wife and 5 month old, they're happy with the Qashqai, and me, well my ass is itching, and I think I want an RS250.

From what I've read the LSD is a must, so Cup version, any other advice or things to look out for?
For the money these offer ridiculous amounts of practicality, performance and driving g experience

After having 3 sets of Enkei NT03 in 17x9 and 1 set in 18x7.5 (pretty weak fitment) I've been searching for a used set with good width and offset in 18" for about 2.5years and finally found them less then an hour away so it would be rude not to get them. I'll get better pics up later

fantastic car mate. i have a red spec c impreza and am thinking of going red megane rs 3. just like this could i speak to you to help me in what mods i would need.being a trackday guy and ring vet i am really interested in the rs but know very little about.i.e facelift? when did the front end change or could i buy that colour with that front end etc//some many questions lol.cheers bernie
Hi mate they are a fantastic choice as an arrive and drive and tbh you could turn up in a stock car and go pretty quickly.

Most of the ring cars have KW clubsports with stiffer front springs and usually set up by raeder Motorsport. I use ferodo ds uno pares and endless fluid. A decat and Mao will bring you around 300+bhp and 340ish lbs torque. The stock diff (cup model only) is perfectly acceptable Von road track and ring.

Takes years off it imo.

Bit of NYE progress

Had a horrid wobble under throttle which I instantly knew would be the inner joint on the drivers driveshaft, I'd noticed some CV grease but had no access to garage until now to sort it but was too late as the joint had dried and st itself so my fault but a recon from Renault is on the way at cost of £200 vs the £450 brand new.

Also fitted some led bulbs as for some reason the facelift doesn't come with xenons.

When I done the FL conversion I had a new wing painted as I'd worn away the drivers arch and was not paying £50+ for a piece of plastic so instead got entire wing for £50 so managed to get that fitted.

A friend of mine just sold his RS3 and had some nearly new CL RC5 pads that he gave me so I swapped out the DS UNO to keep for track and whacked in the RC5 for road use.

A good nut and bolt check and she will be good to go.

Front end and wing still needs wet sanding and polishing btw

Been following your build ever since it started on MiniTorque. I'm there this weekend, is your car with you on the stand?
Thanks mate! Miss my r53s. Unfortunately she will be in the carpark somewhere

So snapped the piece of st bolt that bolts the gear box in place (properly st design) so sourced an M12 12.9 tensile bolt and drilled and tapped it from M10 to M12 and fitted it all back up.

I've also made another purchase....the KW clubsports that where actually on the car when I sold it which is a touch as I've had them from new and also have the raeder spring rates etc on so gave them a clean up and ready for fitting
