They where destroyed before the pads and wasn't going to pay 450 a time for discs that last less time then oem one which tbh are perfect any way

Yeah thats true... not cheap. Check out Reyland if you have not already, they do rotors which work out about 300 a pair

Done Bedford gt track day yesterday which was my 1st time there and wow what a great track, megane was absolutely insane yet again!! Wasn't passed once and only cars I managed to have a good player with was a cayman gt4 and an e46m3 with intrax 1k2 coilovers, dz03g tyres and ap brakes. The ferodo ds uno pads stopped like nothing else but the grooved discs are noisy as hell so plain ones next time. Go pro footage is poor as having to cable tie the mount as per rules mad it vibrate like hell and the battery died haha. Ad08rs where decent but not a patch on dz03g which I'll be getting next

Car looks mega. Nice touches on the seats with the red colouring. Really like these but always hated the OEM wheels (could say that about a lot of the recent Renaultsport fleet in my opinion, the old 182 Turini's showed how it should be done)

There were quite a few of these at the Ring when I went in May and some absolutely flew past me in my M3 (E46). A lad we knew was having trouble with his de-rating massively, something to do with the very latest ones being EU6c and suffering with high temps or something?

Car looks mega, keep it up biggrin

Saw this on the mini forum. Looks mental. How do you find the cae shifter. I know you said you couldnt really describe it but does it solve the st gating on the standard box?

Also what did you think to the pilot super sports (I am sure you had them at some point) as I've just ordered 245 40 18 to replace the ps2 235 40.

Pole positions look brilliant.

I love the cae it makes the experience so much more dramatic and engaging, gear changes are so crisp. I loved the pss as a road tyre it's hard to beat

Lovely car, really impressed with the whole thing and will be following this thread!

Looking to get into something new and exciting next year, had all these visions of me going out to get a grown up 'hot hatch' and had marked the M140i / Golf R / Audi S3 as the cars to choose from but looking at yours and reading your thoughts on it, definitely a car I'd want to look into more! Well done OP.

Thanks for the kind words. These can now be had at very very very good money and for the performance you get they are amazing. I've had cayman gt4 and e92 owners come and talk to me about the car based on how well it goes on track. As a daily there are better cars but for thrill of driving these are amazing

Excellent development work on that Car mate. I've just come into one from a Golf R. Loving it. Much more rewarding drive than Golf. Would still recommend a golf though. The Meg is raw!

Saw this in the metal at brands the other night, looks an absolute weapon and goes like one too! I intended to come and say hello Matt but the opportunity never arose as my mate Jesse was having some issues with his EK9 turbo. I'm in the TrackTime group with you on Facebook also. Cracking car bud!
