Just spotted this thread, and realised that I was on track with you at Bedford on the 1st August. My co-owner and I were in the very low silver/blue Peugeot 206 - not sure we managed to speak to you in the pitlane, but saw plenty of your car coming around the right-hander after the pit entrance, tyre squeal and all.

A very impressive piece of kit.

A cracking day indeed. On the subject of tyres, we caused the only red flag of the day on the last right-hander before the pits, after 30-odd laps melted our rears.

Thankfully no damage to us, car or circuit. Just an embarrassing chat with the marshal and first-aider.

Very nice Matt, I have enjoyed following your thread. Car looks great. Looking like it has morphed more into a track car over time but still with a decent level of trim.

Yes it's at that point now where it's more track car but I can still drive it to nurburgring without issues, I didn't really want to strip the car to death haha

Personally, I think this iteration of the Megane looks much better than the others (new and old). However, the above pic is absolutely fantastic!

Being a massive Jap fan, I was all set on getting a small Japanese HotHatch of some sorts when funds allowed but your car has made me consider the 250/265 ahead of, say, the CTR. Not much gets me gawking at anything that isn't from the quirky far east but your car definitely managed it.

I really appreciate that buddy but yes I like Jap cars and have tried a bit of Jdm influence on this car

Finding it near impossible to get a set of wheels with the right offset for my 250!

Are they the correct fitment, as they look great! biggrin

Also had an alcantara steering wheel done buy royal wheels and a carbon surround for my shifter

Also a pair of red schroth harnesses

Also good session on track chasing my mate in his 450bhp golf gti at forge action day

Done Snetterton last weekend had great fun

Then done Bedford on Saturday and took my mum and girlfriend on track for there 1st time haha
