I was under the impression that car runs on 16s

My wheels are due next week and are same as yours 9 rear and 8 front. That profile drop is quite severe from what is on there now though. The wheels on it at the minute are 235/55r17 all round. Too wide for the front as they rub on full lock so was going to go for 225 on the front and was gonna do 245 on the rear but was struggling to find a matching set with a profile bigger than 40.

That car still isn’t finished

That other v12 in the pic is on 18’s but a set of 8j front and back.
Well if you are having 9j on the rear of your car you may find 245 tyres will rub on the inner wheel arch depending on the offset you have asked for. I have roughly 5mm clearance on the inner arch from the wheel! That’s why I went for a slightly stretched 235 40 on the 9j rim.
My coupe is very low on the front hence the 225 40. No rubbing what so ever over bumps or steering lock. That’s with original worn out rubber bushes still fitted.
Personally I don’t like the floating feeling of the original suspension set up so not bothered with low tyre profiles. Once I’ve rebuilt my coupe axles they will be fitted with poly bushes and mounts, with a few other upgraded goodies smile

That looks like a good bit of kit, I think it’s based on db7 springs.

I’ve gone with the polybushed radius arms and axle mounts also but with fixed height lowered springs and shocks.

Was already fitted on mine about a year before I got it so st least that’s one thing I haven’t had to change

Bespoke wheels are pretty much ready painted in Obsisian Black to match the car

Debating whether to paint the front of the diamond cut nut black where the Jag badge sits. Opinions please

I'd paint the whole thing, nut and badge, black.

I like the nut being silver as per the picture.

To stay on the fence though, I can imagine it would also look good painted black.

I wasn’t sure at first but the builder said they did it becasue it’s diamond cut and thought it would look better. The Facebook group appears to be agreeing with them

Similar wheel style to yours showing colour coded centres. I had these done when I first bought my coupe many moons ago and I must admit the painted centre nut looked naff. Just my opinion though

I share that view. The silver (and red) will be a welcome contrast. All black and you'll lose the detail.

I think I agree and it differentiates then from a cheap £400 a set similar design

Leave the silver front of the nut, looks far better and works with the silver rim.

Tail lights will have LED bulbs in them. Didn’t even consider having a set made to be LED from the start that would have been stupidly expensive.
