YC - Get her from Leeds?

I can't work out the new Mondeo DRL situation (sad I know) - some have LEDs in the headlights, some in the fogs and some just have halogen bulbs? Also saw one with sweeping front indicators, ala Audi
All cars with halogen headlights now have the DRL above the fog light.
older cars with halogen headlights had the halogen DRL in the main headlight

The cars with led headlight have the DRL in the headlight, and those cars also have the sweeping front LED indicators you saw.

Op I love a Mondeo, we have some in work and they are massive and really nice inside, I cannot believe some petty undersexed looser took the time to report you for a few mods. Oh well onwards and upwards.

What's the mileage now?

furious at whoever got the authorities to hassle you. Grr.

bounce at the new car. Looking forward to it's future. And maybe the mods your friend gets done in a very similar looking car. I like the "new" Mondeo shape a lot, would love to see Ford to a radiator with twin spots embedded, like the old Aston Martin DBV8. That and bonnet vents and RS6 arches. But hey, can't have everything! I reckon the dog is just marking it's territory, it wants it for it's own.

I'm still looking for the right Mondeo estate for my dad, needs to fit a wheelchair in the boot now and then, I'm guessing the new model has a cavernous load space?

New model is massive

Although slightly smaller in numbers of litres of boots pace than the mk4

This one will be remaining completely standard and err unmodified. Not even as much as a sticker

Although i did buy a big brown box from the USA to test out the boot space

A standard Mondeo this afternoon

Good news for once as well. The wife traded in her hateful horrid ecosport and bought me a spare engine and gearbox and associated ancillaries

Brilliant if you find yourself needing starters/alternators or anything like that on a Saturday afternoon

Although being a 2l tdci same as mine I might treat it to some tuning parts

Eta 4500 miles and counting

Is that the road that runs between 2 junctions of the M6? If so, there's an excellent chocolate shop in Orton that always did (and hopefully still does) lovely coffee and cake; I used to do the M6/A74M from Greater Manchester to Edinburgh a few times a year and it was always a lovely place to stop for refreshment and pop to the loo.

Managed to get over to the Capital Yesterday

And just a wee road trip today fort William to Mold in Wales

Glasgow to Horsham tommorow smile

I'm imaging first service will be next week some time currently on 6200 miles and another 1000 tommorow

and having spent the day tramping up and down the M6 i'm tempted to add a discrete mod,
saw this lovely front bumper attachment that I think might be useful

From his previous thread that got binned, he does a lot of medical work. Either moving blood and other supplies or repatriating patients who have fallen ill away from home and can't fly/ drive themselves back.

Also being nosey so please tell me to bugger off if you like.

With long drives like that (I've done NE Scotland to Horsham and regularly did NE Scotland to Devon but there was 2 of us sharing the drive) do you have to take breaks like truck drivers? It's a damn long way by yourself!

No regulation on us, normally just play it by ear. Take a break as and when.

Dealee didn't get near it
Genuine ford filter works out and £4.40 and oil around £1.50/litre on trade makes it a very cheap if somewhat bemusing in between oil change. Plastic sump and sump plug wtf. ,be interesting to see how it holds up to big miles
