OP, are you monetising your hits on the YouTube videos? What's your plan?
It's setup to do it yes although my presence on youtube at present is more of a new hobby than anything else.Would I like to earn money from a job related to cars? Yes of course. But who on here wouldn't?
Yes because every driver completes several laps on trackdays warming up, cooling down and generally not going for it at all. That is the whole point of trackdays after all isn't it...to generally drive around obeying the speed limits and not trying to reach the limits of your vehicle.
Thanks for the balanced approach! You've obviously not been on here long
Whilst I agree on the whole with what you said it's only natural to want to compare with others. The way I see it is if I'm not losing sight of cars with double (or more) horsepower then I'm doing good. Of course I'm no pro driver, how could I be? I'm just fairly proud that someone like myself is able to drive at the same sort of rate as some good drivers out there. I'm happy I've reached that stage. I don't mean to shout about it like I'm the next Senna. That's honestly not my intention
As for the videos I've been warned with a ban if I post any more on PH so all I can suggest is to subscribe to the youtube channel "Gassed Up"

I'm sure we'll see Joe and his Polo again somewhere.
By the way Joe, successfully competing with people is much harder when they too are competing and attempting to succeed. Go on, try it. If you want to compete you can buy a Caterham Graduates car and do a full season's racing for the cost of your polo.
