Nice, I'm trying to resist buying shiny bits for mine.
Staying strong so far, although it has only been 3 days
Yours look nice, I don't know if it applies to the 180 but I've just rang audi about an outstanding recall on the coil packs and they've booked it in to replace them. ...Staying strong so far, although it has only been 3 days
I'm happy with the centre caps :-)
just bought some defcon bush inserts to reverse the dumbing down Audi did in 2000
Il replace the other bush and ball joints with standard items when the wishbones are off.

Very nice. Keep it standard (at least visually).
I really liked the OP's car initially, but now with blue body, black wheels and red centre caps, it's spoilt. No cohesion. Sorry OP.
No need to be sorry, I respect your opinion. Although it's only a set of wheels, which replaced wonky replicas :-)I really liked the OP's car initially, but now with blue body, black wheels and red centre caps, it's spoilt. No cohesion. Sorry OP.
I think a cheeky photoshop to turn the wheels white might be a worthwhile exercise for someone..
Then some blue compo logos on them.
Having bought a TT roadster last year for the sort of money that should really only buy knackered old hatch backs and ex mini cabs, I think we're going to see more and more of these 'I just bought a mk1 TT for peanuts and bugger me they're actually pretty good' type threads.

Blue or matching black centres would bring it together. There's nothing for the red ones to match and so they seem out of place to me.Still a bargain of a car though!
Well, still enjoying it.
The rd08's have been replaced by some rainsport 3s which provide a much more compliant ride for the road.
It's had a haldex service, brake fluid change and steering fluid change at Audi whilst in for the coilpack recall.
The seats lack lumber adjustment and a 600m 24hr round trip left me in agony. It doesn't help the padding seams to have flattened from a previous lardy owner.
So I've just bought some new seats which should be in keeping with the car but actually provide support.
Also added the obligatory, grown up boy racer, metal plates
