What was needed that cost £1900???

Presumably you bought the Monza exhaust yourself?
Just realised I posted this in the wrong thread. Should have been in the daily thread.
Anyway - the Monza replacement was £1700.

Can anyone advise what MPG they currently achieve please?
I average around 32mpg with a mixture of motorway and back road thrashing! You'll see 40mpg on a decent run, its got a tiny little tank though about £40 fills it!

Think the tanks around 9 gallons. I’m mid to high 30’s with similar use to yourself.

I got much the same when I had mine.

No good for me in the end though as I was filling up by thursday (if filled on sunday evening), and having to get fuel on the way to work requires an annoying detour. Roughly, It used to use a blob on the fuel gauge per trip. 8 blobs including the red "low fuel" one, so by Thursday home time I'd have the fuel light on. 250-260 miles ish?

Mine sits at a fairly consistent 33.3mpg, regardless of driving style.

Between 31 & 34 per tank.

2 x 8 mile journeys a day. 13 on the M4 / fast B roads.

Not in anyway driven for economy, always in sport.

Great thread.

I picked up a 595 Turismo back in June last year for the wife. She had a Fiat 500 Popstar prior to that and when it came to changing, she didn't want anything else other than a 500. Luckily enough, id wanted an Abarth for a few years and after some clever planning, we arrived at a Fiat Dealership that was also an Abarth Dealer.

We settled on the Turismo rather than the Comp, mainly because of the price and the rawness of range topper. After all, itd be her daily, but i knew that both cars shared the same turbo and with a bit of mapping, we would be hitting the numbers of the Comp.

After 2500 miles its averaging 28mpg but to be fair, its mainly used for school runs, shopping trips and the odd weekend thrash. The bike didn't get much use last summer!

Yes its not the most refined and yes there are bigger, comfier, quicker hot hatches out there but these cars have so much character.

Hoping to take part in a "follow my nose" Euro trip this year for a week or so.

30 or just below.
I don’t hang about and it’s mostly very short journeys.

My 595c comp averaged 37 mpg but it did spend most of its time on motorways.

Mine is for sale if anyone is looking for a full spec car https://www.researchgarage.co.uk/abarth/used-cars/...

It’s not a 70th car but it does have heated seats that they haven’t mentioned

Nice looking car, my wife has the exact same spec interior/exterior but it’s a Turismo, registered March 19.
Did you have the heated seats fitted aftermarket?

Yes they were shocking and I guess it shows the fact they are no longer in business. I often go to pub club at the west meon that Dave runs on here if you go to them (details in the south coast forum)

It's a great colour scheme but quite rare.

Sadly Abarth don't offer heated seats so I got heated elements retro fitted. They were done by a local company for £400 and you wouldn't be able to tell that the covers had been off, I was very impressed.

So after just over 4 years of ownership I sold my car today after 45,000 miles of very happy motoring.

A very enjoyable car that certainly drew attention.

1 auto solo
1 track day
2 trips to the Nurburgring
4 European road trips
And plenty of drives out with PH members.

Consumables I’ve purchased are:

3 pairs of PS4’s fronts
1 pair of PS4’s rears
1 pair of front pads
3 pairs or rear pads (the rears get squeaky after a while so changed with lots of life)

And I think that’s pretty much it! No real issues had 1 software update for the stereo and 1 badge swapped on warranty.

Mileage I think it averaged about 37mpg over it’s time with me running on 98 octane or more.

Would I have another? Absolutely however the current lineup is a bit lacking and so I have a 3-4 month to await for the new car.

Looks like a decent change to the Yaris.

I’m starting to get the itch to move - having increased power and looks to try and keep me interested - I’m still very tempted into trying something else which is a huge shame as I love the little Abarth!

I’m thinking I might go the same way 595heaven went - 55AMG. I need to have a v8 before they’re totally frowned upon.
Tough decisions over the next few months.

How did you get on value wise? Did you lose much?

It's a great car, and even louder than a Comp. The engine is just brilliant...

I still hanker for an Abarth though. Someone in our village has just got a Scorpioneoro (black with gold wheels) which looks great, but a shame it's only the 165PS engine.

We were waiting outside the multi-storey carpark in Banbury this afternoon (in the Defender not SLK55) and there was the unmistakeable sound of a Monza exhaust echoing round one of the upper floors!
