I have actually decided on the paint scheme. For the entire build of the car it was going to be black. Started off matt black but then everyone and their dog started to do that so dropped that idea and went back to gloss.

However, gloss black is very difficult to get right as you need a perfectly prepared body as the slightest imperfection will show up. Knowing my skill and patience aren't up to that particular task I have veered away from this choice.

So what to do? I want it to be unusual, but not in an 'in your face' way. This is not easy to do as most ideas have been done, with many of them done to death as a neat idea gets copied very quickly by the sheep and becomes as common as muck.

However, I have stumbled upon a scheme that will be unique, no other car in the world will look the same :-) The caveat is that it may look rubbish when done so the car won't be revealed unless I am happy with it. What others think will be interesting but of no real concern as the only person it has to appeal to is me, and possibly the wife :-)

Yes, but they aren't wide enough to wrap the car without any joins.

A lot closer than before lockdown :-) Body almost finished. Then spraying. Waiting for polycarbonate to arrive so I can make the windows and rear screen. Then I have to finish the interior. Then it is wiring snagging and fire up. After that suspension setup. Then insure and MOT and test drives. Then sorting out issues :-) Aiming for next season.
