This is the best car i've seen for a while in readers cars, what an epic build.
Thanks!

Doesn't feel like mine yet!

Cleaned it for the first time today. It's mint! It's really nice cleaned a car that's pristine! Looking forward to summer!

Starting to get used to it, but it's just so brutal. Tried 3/4 throttle today in second gear and it just sat there wheel spinning! Haha!

Amazing. That is absolutely everything I would want in a car right there. You don't need it, it's hugely impractical, highly antisocial, it'll ruin you, lose you your licence, just give it to me and save yourself now before it's too late!!! biggrin

A very good friend of mine commissioned this to be built.

He is well known here on the TVR forum.

His attention to detail is fastidious and you can
completely rest assured no corners will have been cut
in this project.

This is the only car my wife could buy me to give up my bike. Enjoy!

Ps if it doesn't already, get a decent fire extinguisher in the cockpit handy. Losing something so perfect over something silly doesn't bear thinking about.

Oh wow I love that. The mods to the front make the car look so much better.

Very very nice but the roll bar spoils it for me. Would make the car look cheap and spoil the lines when the rear section of the roof is folded down.

Rear wheels look a size to large for my liking, 17's would suit it better, just my personal taste, but otherwise cloud9
Yeah, I think the wide angle photo exaggerates the size of the rear wheel. This photo is a bit more realistic. But I get what you mean.

The car actually had the inner arches at the front modified to take the larger and wider wheels. It's running 225 at the front and 255 at the back.

Wheels and ride height look fine to me & the yellow paintwork with black detailing is very very much to my liking!!!!

THAT engine bay is cloud9

Plus a bonus Lotus Carlton in the background to...nice.

I've not yet folded the rear hood down. I had the roof panel off yesterday, but left the rear section up. I used to leave it up on my Chimaera too. It always made a mess of the velcro bit at the bottom of the hood when I folded it down!

I will drop the hood down in the next few days and see how it looks.

Yes, it's been very well built. Christian and Topcats did a fantastic job. It does feel strange to be taking credit for someone else's creation! But it is mine now! biggrin

It does have a few electrical niggles, which I need to get sorted, but otherwise it's spot on!

I almost feel guilty saying something bad about it because the rest is so nicely done!

In fact I've got a Tuscan in the same colour with black wheels.

It's just that as a full convertible, for me the rear section would always get folded down, (something I can't do in a Tuscan, although I regularly take out the rear window) and the roll bar would stick out like sore thumb against the beautiful clean simple lines of the Griffith.

Was this owned by a TVR racer at all?

Any which way - enjoy. I loved my LS engined Tamora.
