So a bit of a splurge on the MX5 and a few more track days booked. Will be back at Oulton on 27th March and Anglesey April 16th although weather permitting that will be in the MK.

- Freaky parts 280mm F and 276mm R disc and caliper spacers ordered along with braided lines.
- Carbotech RP2 pads ordered (Originally went for XP10s but changed last minute hoping for better economy/life out of the RP2s)
- 10kg springs for the front MeisterRs and will transfer 6kgs to rear
- Brake ducting and mounting rings too

Ohh and some 8j Enke(ish) JRs so I can run some wider R888R/AR-1s moving forward

(Crappy pics, but all I could get before light faded!)

A rather boring weekend spent on the mx5. MK got relegated and the mx5 put on axle stands for a mega clean and underseal.

Carbotechs and 10kg springs turned up and got the AD08Rs stripped off the rims ready for the R888Rs. Just waiting on the brake kit from Freaky Parts. Will get it all on and head back to Oulton to see if it's been worth it haha.

While the brakes are getting a refresh and the braided lines are going on I plan on doing an ABS delete. Have done one previously on a DC2 was a while back so need to read up on best way to do so.

Got the front brakes swapped over last night and brake ducts in. Clearance on the new wheels is friken tight on the calliper....

Old vs new>>

Starting to love how purposeful this thing is looking now! 225 R888Rs on the 8J wheels! Literally MM between calipers and wheels and MM between wheels/tyres and arches!

Bigger brakes complete taking the disc size up from 255 to 280 and 251 to 276, ducts and Carbotech pads>>

Braided lines and stiffer spring rates to fit yet!
