Can't argue with that fuel figure.

Amazing how old it is but how new it looks, think Merc got it back together by then after the 210 to an extent, and 51 mpg is very good for such a big car.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I know the car is old and I suspect that when there's a little prang people just don't bother to repair them. I still do 1k a month and it's my daily car so I think it should look it's best.

I am aiming to polish up the headlights and re-coat them. I have used the Meguiars kit a couple of times and usually gives a decent 12 months before it needs to be re-applied.

As for the fuel economy, the warmer weather always sees it creep over 50mpg but in winter it's still achieving 48/49mpg on a run. Big heavy car with a fairly sizeable engine so I really can't complain.

Bit of an update today, decided to go for a quick clean with a polish and wax for the summer.

Quick once over with some Lime Prime.

Opted for Supernatural Hybrid for protection. Nice wax to use I must say, DJ products never seem to bake on despite the warm weather.

Interior given a quick once over.

Cassette deck hidden away in there somewhere haha

Tyres get the obvious choice

Couple of jazzed up pics

'4D' plates were fitted the other weekend as well, quite funky I reckon

Not much excitement with my E Class at the moment, still ticking along brilliantly so just keeping it nice and tidy.

Gave the headlights a much needed clean up and re-coating with Meguiars Perfect Clarity kit. Not perfect but loads better.

Today I gave the car a clean inside and out, tried some iron remover on the wheels. Not something I have ever bothered with in the past but definitely did the job. I used Autoglym Magma.

Pretty cool once it reacts to the iron fallout.

Then just gave the outside a wash and wipe down with Poorboys quick detailer.

Couple of moody pictures which I tweaked using an app on my iPhone called Phototoaster.

Not bad for an old girl fast approaching 140k.
