1988 Honda Acty..
Discussion
Just looked at wiki , and saw this regarding the engine , so it is related to a Gold Wing
"The water-cooled SOHC two-cylinder EH was first seen installed in the first generation Honda Acty truck introduced in July 1977, and later in the 1985 Honda Today. It was based on one bank of cylinders from the horizontally opposed four used on the Honda Gold Wing GL1000 motorcycle, with which it shared the 72.0 mm bore. The horsepower rating of the 545 cc (72.0 x 67.0 mm) engine was 28 PS at 5,500 rpm, and 4.2 kg-m at 4,000 rpm. When installed in the Today, max power was raised to 31 PS (23 kW) at the same revs, and torque at 4.4 kg-m, with a compression ratio of 9.5.[3]
Applications:
1977.07-1988.05 Honda Acty
1985.09-1988.02 Honda Today"
And it appears the van is still in production , well updated I would think though

6 cylinder Goldwing engine, then......."The water-cooled SOHC two-cylinder EH was first seen installed in the first generation Honda Acty truck introduced in July 1977, and later in the 1985 Honda Today. These small commercials seemed pretty popular in their time. Suzuki Super Carry's used to be everywhere !
My post-GCSE summer job was at West Midlands Safari Park and they had a SuperCarry and a Rascal. Great fun around the private roads there. True story - I once disrupted filming of The Really Wild Show whilst trying to make my deliveries to the kiosks dotted around the park. :-p
I worked for Inter City Couriers back in the 80s. These were our fleet vehicles.
Mostly London but we did long distance too. Had to stay inches behind lorries to slipstream.
Mate of mine turned a corner sharpish in Camden and it fell over and got impaled on a bollard.
I even picked up a Kawasaki GpZ900r in mine. Must of had a third of the bike hanging out the back.

How slow is this going to be?

The chap I got my gearbox from said his old 5 speed would do 70 odd.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-acty-550cc-romahom...
I can't swear to this as I only have what he says to go on, however.
I can tell you my 550cc 4 speed still gets going reasonably well. Even with two adults in it and only the 4 speed box, it still doesn't embarrass itself away from the lights etc. I'm not sure how much different the 3 cylinders are to two cylinder versions.
4th gear in mine is much like second or third in most other cars. You pretty much leave it in all the time once above 20 mph. If you approach a hill for example and it starts to slow, your natural reaction is to go for 3rd which would be utterly pointless in mine. Due to the way it behaves in 4th, however, it tends to even pull up hills ok!
I still want to go for 5th every time I drive it, though.
Apparently it's also not too much of a mission to remove the camper part of the van in your link and leave them as just a flat bed. That would turn it in to something far more funky
