Kind of tempted to take this off you to replace my FN2...

But I must admit I'd want the aircon to be ICE COLD hehe
There's a theme developing here hehe

The little blue box clicked onto 85k over the weekend, meaning I've probably covered 500-600 miles in it on motorways, country roads, stop start traffic. I even used it to drive into a central London meeting last week and it continues to not put a foot wrong.

When I think about how much I've spent on the various BMW's I've ran over the past few years its embarrassing.

One thing I would say is that the turning circle is not as good as it's short length might suggest, which I believe is as a result of the (comparative) length of the 6 speed gearbox, meaning the steering lock is reduced. This is noticeable when turning into car parking spaces. Not a big issue, but noticeable.

If I keep it, I might invest in the Koni rear shocks and (shorter) Fiat Coupe rear bumpstops to improve the ride quality, and although the car is running a standard exhaust (which as it turns out are no longer available and quite rare) I wonder if the character of the car would suit something just that little bit more rorty?

Oh and the wife reports that due to the upright rear window, it's perfect for collecting plants from the garden centre.

Women.

Oh hold on, I've just remembered something I don't like.

I was beginning to think that the drivers seat was uncomfortable around the lower back region.

Turn s out that when you adjust the seat height, only the squab moves and not the entire seat. Weird, but in the lowest setting you can feel a lot of the hard part of the frame on your lower back. Adjust it up a few clicks and it's fine.

Strange.

I love these cars- soooo nearly bought one, but I couldn't fit and with size 13 feet, the pedal angle was all wrong and it lead to cramps in my leg! So wish the seat went lower and further backfrown I don't suppose it's possible to remove the current seat and replace it with something else?

Where did you get the gearknob? I was trying to find one for mine for ages but couldn't find one anywhere with the correct pattern

A fiat 500 steering wheel is a great upgrade for the interior too

I love mine, my favourite car ever, I hardly drive my evo 6, nearly always take the panda

Assuming no issues with collection tomorrow I'll be bumping my way back down the A31 at 7000rpm

Yep, it's off to a new owner, Mr GTA!

I've just spent an hour checking all of the fluids, vacuuming it, cleaning the wheels etc to make it pretty, ahead of a wash before collection, and I'm genuinely going to miss the little thing, As always when you've just sold a car the petrol light came on, so popped out to put half a tank in and saw another 100hp, the guy give a beep and a thumbs up.

It's actually not toooo bad on the motorway, an 80-85mph cruise is no, well not too much of drama.

Great little car.

Too kind. Thank you. I won't bother starting another thread, think I'll just continue this one if you don't mind?

Today's collection journey has started well. I'd booked the sprite in for a MOT next to my work before I won the little panda so I got to drive this little gem into work this morning, despite not actually going to work today.

I reckon I was the happiest person commuting in Hampshire today

After dropping the sprite off I had a half hour walk to the train station, where I am now waiting for the 1017 to Reading.

If the panda is half the fun of the froggy I'll be a happy man.

Glad that it's going to another forum member!

I made an enquiry too but couldn't get CFO approval. Great little car, looking forward to the continuation of the thread.

So, ummm, is the air con ICE cold or not? I only ask as surely that could affect the clutch and power steering, no?

Hope you got clarity on these points Mr GTA 😉

I see photobucket have stopped the 3rd party hosting/linking, boo hiss.

Well it's gone...and I keep catching myself looking out of the window at the empty parking space...I miss it.

Still, I'm confident it's going to be enjoyed by the new owner, and it was a very easy pleasant transaction.

I'm looking forward to the updates!
