Bin Ages sinds the last post. The throttlebody is giving me a hard time.
orderd a universal throttlebody. but then the hard part begins. All kind off mounts and things has to be made. And that is eating Time.

Because i use the OEM ECU, i have put in:

Trottle posision sensor. (BTW, mine is a cabled throttle)
Intake air temperatur sensor
Iddle air control
vacuum for feul pressure valve, evap. brakebooster

I wanted to keep the vario ram air, so i had to improvise a lot to make it fit.
So A lot off work, but a Little progress

hope things will go faster now. going to drop the engine. for maintnance and wiring.

There is, but they are quit expensive. Renegade hybrids sells them.

And you have to cut in the construction of the car. The Ls engines are a lot longer then the porsche and Audi engines. And cutting in the construction is in Holland not allowed

Unfurtuned not much progress. So much to do and so little time. Dropped the engine for maintenance. Timing belt etc. Put some paint on the valve covers in metallic red. Painted the timing belt covers in grey. Intake is going to be bleu. Hope i have some time in the cristmas hollydays to do some more.

Where you said you drilled the G87 box for crank sensor, is that for the tach on the 986 clocks to work?

Regards,
Biscuit,
Hello Bisuit,

Didn’t do anything yet on the car. My best friend is diagnosed with cancer and hasn’t long to live, so my mind is not at the car at the moment.

The crank sensor is for the ecu to tell that the crank is turning and that will start the engine. The Audi and porsche sensors a quit simulair, so they will communicate with the tacho etc.

I didn’t open the G86-20 because its worth a decent mony. So i bought the g87 and try to sell the other one
