Any other mishaps/updates on your ownership experience?
Nothing to report really, except it makes me need a pee every time I drive it.

I still enjoy it but its bumpy and quite unrefined. Keep looking at Clio 197's but the running costs would be quite a bit more, and what more would I get?!

The silver collar unscrews from the bottom of the gear knob exposing the grub screws needed to secure if I remember correctly, but you've probably worked that out!
I had not looked that hard to be honest, I tried to stick it back on with a bit of glue but its still wobbly. Ideally I wanted to replace it with a genuine 100HP knob but they are silly expensive, so I went for a Stilo one instead.

If I get get my knob off (ooh-er, missus etc.) do you want to swap? I quite like the look of the Stilo one.

All I've done it repaint the top insert silver, but if your's is in good nick you can easily swap it over.
Swap your 100HP one for the new stilo one? Can do, have you a picture?

New knob fitted

Decided to go with it rather than swap for the 100HP after reading the previous post. Here is a link if you'd like to order one

I've kept an eye on what's for sale since selling this car, with a view to buying another if the right car came along.

All that's done is made me realise that for the money what a peach this one was.

Sure, if you spend almost twice what I sold this one for you might get one with lower mileage, and maybe even a fraction better cosmetically, but I've not seen anything for sale with as good a service history with evidence of proper maintenance.

I hope it serves Mr S100HP well, and if he ever decides to,sell I can personally vouch that this little car is an uptogether, honest little thing.

Nothing drastic to report in panda land, except it's dirty again. Its also just rescued a Rover from the back of a garage where it has resided for the last 6 or 7 years. Chucking it (the Rover) in for an MOT next week.

Panda is still a hoot to drive. Dispatched two cars in one move this morning along a country road cool

Sick Panda alert. Having been used to jump the Rover for the second time in a week, the battery decided to give up shortly afterwards.

Shockingly a new battery was £56 from a local motor factor. Felt expensive but I looked around and it seemed about right.

Took all of 5 mins to fit today and we're up and running again. It's a tiny battery, no wonder it gave up, especially as it looks like it might have been the original!

Once again working on getting it filthy. Have also treated it to a straight through Ragazzon centre section which when mixed with the original back box should be interesting. Not sure if I'll like it, but no harm if not, I'll just sell it on. Should sound similar to this

My old motor!

Ragazzon centre pipe is quite boomy used in conjunction with the Ragazzon Group N back box, with the standard box should be ok.
That's two previous owners on here then. When did you own it, and any history with it?

What have you got, Ragazzon rear silencer but stock centre section?
Other way round, new centre section and standard backbox.

Filthy Panda. Exhaust sounds standard whilst driving lightly, bit intrusive when driving normally and sounds great when pushing on. Think I like it.

Sick Panda alert!

Driving home last night and noticed the biting point was pretty low. Putting it into reverse was met with a bit of a crunch. Got in the car this morning and couldn't engage any gears whilst engine running. Turning it off meant I could put it in first, but not change once engine running. Assuming its the clutch and its already been collected and carted off to a friendly local garage. Bugger.

This is what you need:

I bought this exact one from that seller and arrived in a couple of days. Its £150 for one from Fiat

Took an hour to fit it, pretty easy

I had the same symptoms, clutch is like new now

Oh and I got a slave from euro car parts for £20 and fitted that at the same time for peace of mind
Ah, wish I'd seen this before. I ordered from a German company in the end, £40 but its taken over a week to get here (its not here yet). Better than the £240 Fiat quoted tho. Also ordered the slave for the same reason as you.

OP how you finding the car in relation to practicality, as really toying with the idea of getting one as my next car.

Loved the R53 i had, but always struggled with the tiny boot, and pain to get in and out of. These seems better designed for more interior space and you sit a little higher.

The only concern I have is next year we are trying for kids and while my missus company car would be used for all main transport duties this would to still fit a rear facing baby seat.
Its working well, because its mostly just me in the car. I sometimes have one kid, occasionally both of them. Can't really fit the wife in at the same time, unless she drives, but we've only done that once. Boot is pretty small, but its a usable space. Its van like. Loads of space inside. We still have one kid in a rear facing seat and he goes in the front with the airbag off. Doesn't work as the main family car, but as a runabout with kids its fine, as long as you don't have a massive pushchair.

Off topic, but are you the same Squadrone Rosso from Alfaowner? I was on there when I had my GTA and recognise the name. Didn't you have a GTA too?

Little to report..Panda had MOT and service at the end of last week, so it's good for another year. Am considering selling if anyone is interested?
