Ah, I'm sorry OP, I really hate what you've done with a decent little car. Looks worse, drives worse, is probably dangerous on those cambers. Yuck. (But I'm old). And I drive a Volvo - quietly.
You all say it drives worse it drives the exact same as standard. Theres hardly any camber at all

My missus had a VW Up! for three years and as much as I wanted to dislike it, it was utterly brilliant in a sort of tiny / bouncy / revvy kind of way... used to love borrowing it simply because everything felt so connected and you really had to drive it, carry momentum and think about the gears. Always thought a slightly faster one would be brilliant and also always wondered why the young team hadn't caught on and started modifying them.

I actually like this, ok so it's impractically low but air bags sorts that issues so fair play to you. As for the the "broken" comments, seriously... been done to death and now it's just quite tragic to blurt that out in response to every lowered / stance'd car in a vain attempt to earn some forum kudos.

I like it... and I also drive a Volvo... quietly.

It's not what I'd have, but I like it.

Ignore the moaning on this thread if I were you, it's your time and money to do with whatever gives you pleasure.

I like this - it's what I'd have liked when I was younger and was more into this stuff. Unfortunately at that time I didn't have disposable income to actually do any of it so lived vicariously through build threads!

These days I prefer performance orientated cars as over time my taste has changed. I can still see the appeal though.

What I do like about it is you're investing in keeping it neat and tidy keeping on top of the little things - refurb wheels, keeping the paint fresh, sorting out damage from wheels scrubbing. These things make a difference particularly on cars meant for looking at.

Only now caught up. Been to spend more money on my silly car hehe
Are those Sportster CSes? I'm guessing they are from a Corsa VXR if so. I'd really like a set of Sportsters for my E46 M3, as the standard seats destroy my back.

I'm not going to jump into the hate it camp, quite simply because I don't...it looks okay if you're into that sort of thing and you've obviously put a lot of effort into it so fair play to you.

But...it's a low powered car that you've added wider wheels and tyres to and (ignoring any camber) messed with the suspension. I'd be amazed if it drove as well as a standard example.

I'm not suggesting that it will not be okay to drive, but anyone reading this with any experience of low powered cars fitted with wider wheels and tyres will know what I mean.

Around a track probably not great, but it's not the point of this car.

Its quirky and cool.

OP

If I'm boring because I appreciate cars that have actually been improved through modifications, then yes, I'm boring as fk.

why, PH is not full of sycophants go to stance works or another forum for that? PH has a mix of people but won't lick your bum if it looks st. Airbagged cars, maybe to you seem original but its been around for years, i remember it 20 years ago in Max Power.

Maybe they have lost the originality of them or maybe people have moved on who knows, but it is hard to full appreciate something you don't like. There are loads of cars on Readers cars that are appreciated you cant force others to like what you like.

You also don't have to force the fact you don't like something either though, ever considered that for just a second? Thought not.

I don't like it, think it looks silly, but, it's his car, his money, his taste, he can do modify it in anyway he likes and he can share it on a car forum, you'll notice some people have replied to say they do like it. What's the point in keeping making unnecessary comments? You only have to say "I don't like it" and then move on and look at something else.

Thanks for sharing your car OP.

OP, bagging cars and adding bbs wheels has literally been done to death now...

Also in your words it's 59bhp so incredibly slow and handling will be poor with the negative camber, bags and wide wheels.

Glad you like it cos I think it's st.

They were bbs before, according to your post anyway.

I also mentioned wide wheels and negative camber on the car, but you've chosen to ignore this because deep down you probably know it's bad for the car.

Anyway enjoy your scene points, thanks.
