And another car passes through my ownership. Now sold.
So what’s next?
Unless I change my mind then it'll be an E60 M5.
E60 M5, When an ageing, Supercharged V8 Mercedes just doesn't have enough potential to bankrupt you, the only possible choice is an ageing V10 BMW biggrin

Or one can look at it this way: V10 screamer in a saloon car body, a thing that will never happen again. Ever.

(but I silently agree on the potential bork)

I massively agree on the potential bork biggrin. But as you say, V10, 8250 rpm, not gonna happen again, so might as well try and sample it while I can...

I'd do exactly the same, there'll never be anything like the E60 M5 again.

I think the market will start to value them more in the future, dont think they will drop much more, like you say, last of a dying breed.

Not missing the E55 at all.

Currently looking at an E55 with 85k miles........
Down to about 4k miles a year now after 40k.........
Or I'm also looking at an LS460........different kind of beast altogether, but I like the look of both.
I guess the LS is more sensible on the reliability point of view....but the grin factor no-where near the AMG.

Great write-ups, thank you for sharing. Always good to read some-ones actual experiences of certain cars.

Nice new choice too. Enjoy.
