Livery looks great, you missed an S at the end of the cigarette brand on the back of the car tho, GauloiseS. If done on purpose I apologise.
It only took 3 months but the mistake has been rectified Different decal companies have different interpretations of French blue but hey-ho. I actually quite like the colour difference between the text and the logo.
Had the bright idea of putting it away for the Winter, even bought a cover for it.
Best made plans and all that!
It was killing me not using it so thought I may as well use it until the road salt makes an appearance
Talking of best made plans, was planning to get branched manifolds and sport cats fitted but can't justify the costs. Also had plans for a half cage but can't justify the costs on that either. One change that may happen is a Ph2 gearbox going in, better ratios and it's said to make the car a bit livelier.

Not really the weather for car meets so, I went to one this morning at Carsington Water.
A reasonable turn out for saying it was -6 when I got there.
Was planning on leaving it away whilst any road salt was down but never saw any. I think Derbyshire CC must be trying to make a bucketful last all Winter.

Went to a meet at Donington Park last weekend, it was a good turn out and some great cars on show.
Have had a mad idea, wondered how the rear would look without the plastic engine covers and all the gubbins that goes with them.Did a bit of digging and next week will have the loan of a polycarbonate one to try out. I think the way the car both looks and sits now the lack of the oem plastic covers would suit it.
The car already has a plumbed in extinguisher system, with 6 nozzle to various points of the engine so, touchwood, if the worst happened I'd still have the time to push the button and do a runner......more digging needed I think
The car already has a clear polycarbonate cover that's replaced the oem inspection cover.
A couple of pics of the mad thing popped up elsewhere, courtesy of BTF Photography

Slight change of plan.....not for the first time and it won't be the last
The gent with what I thought was a cover actually had a perspex bulkhead, crossed wires!
Thought of what would be a simpler method. The attached pic shows the black spongey sealing tape stuff around the engine access, now looking at either a perspex, but probably polycarbonate, cover cut to that shape.
Have been told I'd need to lift it by approx 2ins for clearance so some rectangular perspex "bar" could be used to raise it.
Car modifying eh? It never stops

After a great deal of searching I think I've managed to find a 2nd set of Cromodora wheels.
Want another set to put Cup 2 tyres on for Summer.
Will likely look at doing them a different colour than silver, had this photoshopped elsewhere.....I quite like it!
Any Photoshop wizards reading this, feel free to have a play with other colours.
