What a fantastic motor, congratulations sir! Love what you've done with it. I'd love to see the faces of some of the smug supercar drivers after you've handed their ass to them...

I was one of the first people to join Briskoda back in the day as i had one of the first VRS's in the country. Ha our first Briskoda meeting numbered 6 of us (just when Ian and Colin decided to go it alone from vwvortex) If there are any original members still in Briskoda, tell them Funky J says hi and give my regards to The Red Baron, Colin, Ian and Manny if they are still about. beer

Colin is still running the ship, and Manny is still around and attends the odd meet or two.

Christmas update! I got the car back a couple of days ago with the new turbo installed. Due to the holidays the map is not completed so only running 1.7 bar (with over 2.2 to come). Even with low boost the car feels great and turbo spools from lower rpm as expected and is very smooth. The APR dsg map that I also just installed is great and gives me adjustable rpms for launch control and allows fully manual operation in M mode without changing up automatically while in gears 2 to 5 and also not kicking down automatically either.

How much power are you expecting from the new turbo? Sounds epic.

Utterly fantastic.

What I like most is the fact you have done this to such an 'ordinary' car. One that just blends into the sea of other modern stuff without screaming for attention.

It's a proper 'geeky cool' sleeper that would ruffle the feathers of many exotica. Well played.

Not sure to be honest, anything over 550hp at a reasonable boost and fast spool I will be very happy with. Drivability and reliability are what I want now until drag racing season starts at least smile

Is this one what?

It's a Superb with the same base engine yes, but not the same L&K spec, or 560 ponies.

What are you using for fueling now? Still the JB4?

Jb4 was not controlling petrol fuelling, just water meth injection. Will go for a dedicated water meth controller in the new year when mapping is finished.
