The ad's a bit rubbish, stuff like usb ports mentioned as per most other boggo stock Skodas, but absolutely nothing about why this one makes all that power...

'Tis a lovely car though, GLWS !

Love the car, but the add does not do the car justice

Nicely done but £35k ?

Good luck but it’s a 560hp, 2.0 Skoda that’s unlikely to last for usual taxi mileage. Personally I’d go for a lightly used XFR or M5. There’s probably a buyer out there.....possibly.

I think that price is a problem... It has the same price than 900hp Toyota Supra in PH clasifieds. Usually modding a car is waste of money, because it doesn't raise car's value.

GLWS. It is different kind of a beast.

It does have pics of a magazine article covering the car. I guess they need to strike a balance between highlighting the performance and playing down that it's modified to the extent that it is. The buyers market I guess is small for this car albeit the OP should be applauded for his achievement!

the 2016 estate linked on ph front page is up for 19k. the thing is most modified cars revert back to standard and sell the parts off. It is very top money and niche.

Good luck with the sale, hope you find someone passionate enough to take it on. If it were LHD and a year on I would have considered it. Always sad if a good build gets chopped up for parts...

I agree! As fast or faster than these when standard. And more spacious, and cheaper to fix if it goes wrong, and more special in its own way. These were the reasons I built it smile

I guess you are not buying it then smile I would not expect it to last for taxi mileage but the forged engine can withstand 700+ bhp so 560 is well within its capabilities.
700+ bhp you say? What would be required for that kind of power figure on top of what is already installed?

I am sorely tempted to sell my 2016 STI and buy this but these things are easier said than done.

Why don't you ask for a possible part exchange? wink

Bigger turbo and injectors. I was tempted but I did not want to increase turbo lag as it is also a family car and to be honest it is plenty fast the way it is...

Nothing special at the moment. Older cars to save some money.
