As for most projects; things will slow down during winter.

Im not a fan of driving her in cold and damp / wet conditions. Dont get me wrong the quaife is amazing and even if she does lose traction coming off the loud pedal soon snaps her back in line.

She had a wash today, was filthy. Had to be a daily for a while as my mondeo shat its clutch.

Some scrote also stole my bonnet emblem whilst at a friends. So i bought a cheap one and glued it on. Ill sort the grill assembly properly at some point, have a mint original one in the garage.

So a little update.

Went for a nice drive one Sunday. Pulled out of a junction, went for second, planted the throttle, it hooked and blew a shaft. Snapped at the hub end. Blew the end section out through my wheel and center cap!

Obligatory snow pic

New shaft arrived. Didnt realise how hench they were!

Finally got round to getting the shaft changed.

Old one, proper fooked!

This also seems to have cured some of the whine ive presumed to have been diff at low speeds.

Shes filthy, but shes running sweet

Belated pic of the merc on out clubstand at modified nationals

Not much has been happening. Just driving her and annoying other motorists ha!

My throttle cable snapped a few nights ago. Had to drive her home on the clutch. Used the slack to repair. It never occured to me to actually take any photos when i had all the inlet off showing the pump. But DPUK is sending out a new cable so ill get some pics when i fit the new one smile

this needs lowering so badly.

only think letting it down is the arch gap

New cable arrived yesterday. So this morning i whipped the inlet off and got to it.

You can see the cable fraying slightly. Hence why ive fitted a replacement. Also lots of slack from my half assed attempt at fixing it last time. I adjusted it all properly this time so i now have full throttle movement and a tight cable with no slack.

Something ive been tinkering with the center air vent. They only ever blow cold and with no A/C its pretty useless.
I used the ends of the front fascia and some abs plastic to make a mouting area for a boost and egt gauge. I will eventually dip it in carbon like the rest of the trim when i have the gauges in.
