Nice OM606, having owned W210 with OM606 I love the engine, how it rev's and sounds.
The SuperTurbo movement started in Finland (Mynä Diesel), they've been running those close to 15 years now. 500rwhp and 1000Nm isn't uncommon and now that CDI gearboxes are affordable there is no more problem with gearboxes.
