Yeah I've taken the car to him and he's unsure too.

APC replaced, wastegate actuator replaced (with correct jade green spring too), MAF replaced, spark plugs replaced, diverter valve replaced, DI pack replaced, head gasket replaced (had a tiny leak but was enough to limit the power drastically. It's improved but still nowhere near where it should be) and I've checked and replaced all the vacuum hoses.

Just fed up with fiddling. I think I may have found a specialist who can help that's about 45mins away but I'm going to ring them back later today to confirm.
I thought your 9-5 made a healthy 290 bhp though? How much were you hoping for, over 300?

It's actually identical in spec to your old 9-5 with the exception of the injectors as mine are Deka 630s. So definitely feeling as flat as a pancake!

Hmm what's your full spec list?

Any pics of the car?

Was bored on my lunch break so took some shots type

Strangely the spluttering has stopped so maybe the DI pack is fine, still a slight oil leak so going to have to get that re-inspected (might head up to mechanic tomorrow) but other than that it's pulling like a champ!

Just realised it's likely to be because the fuel filter looks as old as the car; will get replaced with Fram one tomorrow.

That's the oil breather pipe re-inserted with a new plug and cables tidied up; been advised to get a catch can so another little job to add to the list.

Some pics of the custom intake plenum off the car, bit of 'tig porn'.

3x bigger than stock, not only does it give the 9k an amazing induction roar but it results in more balanced flow under boost.

Next to original, stock intake manifold:

OP, I've got a silver 9000 but it's an anniversary. I'm at Long Eaton, I'll watch out for you and your car :-)

As the current dashboard is looking a bit tired, sourced a replacement and given a quick clean. Will next get installed by mechanic as if I did it I'd most certainly break something.

Anyone who finds this thread boring can just close the tab and revert back to whatever else they were doing, it's really that simple.

More pics of tip runs please haha. I have to say I do love the rough and quick as F look. No offence intended when I say rough though.

Agreed, I love the fact it'll scalp a V10 M5 but nobody would notice it, it definitely isn't a head turner especially when dirty. Pure comedy though when it walks the Audi brigade. Never have I seen a car look so small so quickly in the rear view mirror punch

Yeh it gets used for tip runs etc as it's so damn practical! Considering roof bars for my mtb but don't know how much it'll affect aerodynamics.

haha I bet it causes a few surprises. you could just fly about with the mountain bikes on the roof. not sure how long they would stay on though haha.

Car is now for sale because house deposit.

If it doesn't sell then I guess it's going to become my silly second car to complement a Toyota Aygo or Clio dCi.

You forgot to mention the leaky engine in the advert.
