Pete, have a search on here for your Ferrari 250 GTE project in readers cars,if you haven't allready as it may jog you're memory.
You had it delivered to a Europarts depot in Halsted Essex from Italy,so the may have a forwarding address.
I'm thinking GTO engineering may have posted parts to where the car is stored. So you might have some luck with contacting them hopefully.
Good luck.
Great buy you have there.
All the best.

Hi guys
Thanks for all the replies, really appreciate it. Sorry if I’ve not got around to replying to them all. I’m just at Modena at the Ferrari racetrack doing some testing in the 812superfast at the moment. When I’m back in Blighty I’ll reply. Oh and just to clarify, that’s not my Lamborghini tractor he’s advertising as mine is blue & orange. The new one is blue & red.
Cheers
Pete

I’ve just recently sold my AMG GTS Edition 1, good car but not great. I’d take the RS6 any day though, great choice
Yeah, I really like the C7 RS6. Hopefully, in about five years or so I'll get one. Always interesting to hear an opinion on the AMG GTS, I just really like the look of them if nothing else. 2manycars said:
A favourite? Hmm hard to answer as they all do something different. But if I was told I could only keep one car then it would have to be my Fiat 695 biposto tributo. I know I know...but it really is a fantastic little car, quick, nibble, manual, turbo’d and very light. Oh and carbon, lots and lots of carbon.
I don’t think it’s about how much the car costs or how fast it is, I always go with how it makes you feel connected to the road.
That wasn't the answer I was expecting, but I have heard what great little cars they are. I don’t think it’s about how much the car costs or how fast it is, I always go with how it makes you feel connected to the road.

Another huge fan of the LFA here, I was lucky enough to see one in Qatar last year, sadly in a closed showroom rather than on the road so have never heard what I'm sure must be one of the best engine noises to ever grace a car.
Enjoy in renewed health OP, maybe I'll get the chance to hear the car one day.

Congratulations on the car and the kid. The LFA is bonkers, I've only ever seen one and sadly that was parked up so didn't get to hear the V10 howl. All the best with the recovery and enjoy it in good health.
If you ever have any charity events where the LFA is present then please let us know on here as I'd happily make the trip across the Pennines to see it.

Have to say from a visual perspective, the LFA doesn't look like a $500k car. Very Supra esque..however I have witnessed and heard these things going round Yas Marina Circuit (at Launch) and they sound great and are damn quick.
As for the loss of a 250 GTE, its probably a good thing if its being returned with a restoration bill attached!

I agree that it isn't the most visually striking car in photos but I've always found them to be very impressive in the flesh, they very much command your attention I think. leglessAlex said:

Agreed, so many cars don't photograph that well but look much better in the flesh. The LFA screaming down a straight is something to behold. Likewise, the one I saw on the road didn't exactly seem to lack magic.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
