Well what a morning.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pete in person today.

I want to let you all know that he is indeed a really great guy. He very kindly let me and my son have a sit in the legendary LFA, as well as rev it.

For any doubters out there about what Pete is like then I for one can confirm he is genuinely a nice bloke and very approachable.

Thanks a million again Pete and see you around.

I took a few photos and a little video clip of the car reving from outside and inside. I’m no photographer but If anyone want me to post them I can. (I think 😳)

Thanks Shane
I’ll give you that tenner later for saying all those nice things about me haha.

Lovely to meet you and your son, he’ll be a little petrolhead when he’s older won’t he.
Your M5 sounded glorious when you took off.

Remember guys, if you see me then wave me down and I’ll happily stop (if I see you that is haha). I might look dumbfounded why you’ve stopped me for a few moments but when my brain kicks in properly then it’ll all click into place.
I’m sure I called Shane ‘Shaun’ a few times haha, sorry my bad.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, YouTube video coming as soon as Jordan gets back to the UK.

Cheers
Pete

Thanks Pete.

The titanium system on the M5 does improve the sound quite a bit.

Theo (5year old) was shouting “floor it floor it daddy” so I had to oblige.

Btw

It wasn’t £10 it was £20 Pete haha

Just watched your video - https://instagram.com/p/Bh1w0aEjAj0/

Sounds as delightful as I thought it would. Can’t wait to hear it in person!

Pete,

Assume the LFA has a lifting kit fitted? Either that or you are restricted to the smoothest of very smooth roads!

Might be just the camera angle but that looks really, really low. How much can you raise it?

Ooh, low questions:

How do you deal with super low?
Do you plan speedbumpless routes?
If you end up faced with bumps do you risk it or turn around?
Do you often scrape and how much does it hurt?
What's the most damage you've done on a speedbump?

Missed this post last week.

Closest thing to automotive perfection for me, what a stunning thing.

Cheers for sharing, if you have any other photos could you start a new thread so as not to derail this one? Would love to see that car from a direct front and rear view. If I'm late to the party and you've already done that on PH or other media I'd be grateful for a link.

Hope you and 2MC enjoy your cars in good health for many years to come... just make sure you share photos with us!!

Jesus wept, that's bloody ridiculous, it only looks like it has 20mm clearance at best. I couldn't even get that off my drive and that has a tiny slope!!

Looking forward to the LFA video, can I be the first to request a window-down tunnel run??

What are you building Pete? I love the fact that you have a selection of supercars parked on your drive next to what appears to be a Travis Perkins delivery!

Personally I think it's great to see the cars in normal circumstance, rather than Monaco, Knightsbridge etc

Not at all good sir. I’m glad you do. It’s my design, all natural cedar, handmade the old school way, no power tools or drills involved at all.
Just getting the front and back door done the same way.

I just drive over them.
No planning before hand (no fun)
I never turn round if I hit a big bump, I just go for it.
Pretty often, hurts at first then you get use to it (sounds like me trying to persuade the wife for a certain something haha)
Most damage I’ve done on a speed bump is just scrapping the underneath. After all it is a speed bump so I do slow down for them.

Cheers
Pete

I’m ALWAYS building.
Just putting the 6th bedroom and 7th bathroom on the house now.
I’m still looking for a new house at the moment. I hate stopping.
I’ve only got another 2 weeks of building work then I’ll be done.

Would it not be easier for you to build your new home? Incorporating an underground garage so you could keep a few gems closer? No matter what house you buy, you’ll only end up spending and adapting it more to your taste anyway, you certainly don’t need to compromise or settle.

Lovely LFA btw. That exhaust note is sublime.
