Another lurker here. Just spent a week reading the entire thread and all I can do is second all the positive comments.
Love the fact that you are able to buy and use so many dream cars AND do so much for good causes with them.
I'd be happy to be able to afford just one your cars! Must work harder/smarter...
Please keep the thread going and also give us lots of detail on the Singer - if I played the lottery that be my one car to spend the winnings on.
All the best with you health, family and charity work

Hi everyone
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments, this thread is literally filled with the nicest people. Many whom I’m just getting to meet in person and exchange numbers with. Lovely to meet Shane99 and his son Theo last weekend at Ferrari.
Now we text and will be meeting up soon so he and his son can have a walk round my storage units.
Anywayyyyyy, I’m not saying anything about the next ‘surprise’ car but I can say it IS Italian.
I’m not being a douche by not telling you what it is so I can build up suspense, that’s not my thing.
I’m having to be quiet because there’s lots of fragile pieces that could easily be shattered in this deal if I start shouting about it.
You’ll all know within the next 28 days, promise.

Have a good weekend and stay classy.

Pete

Pete, I'm no Porsche fan, but can't help but think this is a rare thing of beauty... it's a he'll of a lot of money but I can only see it appreciating and considering your end goal for your cars I dare say it's make a decent investment.

The veyron would be an interesting car to own I think... relatively it's a bargain compared to the other high end stuff but it's a car freak due to the maintenance costs. Change the wheels every 3 tyre changes etc; maintaining an F12 or something similar is probably equivalent to a honda civic relatively compared to a veyron

Where do we form an orderly queue for a tour of your units? biggrin
Agreed on this thread, it’s bringing the best people out and the best out in people. Top work all round.
Never fancied investing in the more classic/iconic super car stuff Pete? Likes of the McLaren F1, XJ220, Diablo SV?

I do fancy that indeed, that’s why I’m being quiet about the upcoming ‘deal’. I’m not holding my breath though, LOTS of mitigating factors that could turn it sour very quickly.
You’ll all have to wait 4 weeks until I have some more news. Sorry guys.

OP if you don’t mind me staying, from the pictures on here, you seem to have a very modest (albeit very nice looking) home for someone with such money and cars etc. Not thought about moving somewhere with a few hundred acres where you can have space to store all of the incredible metal you are procuring? Each to their own of course!

Well if that doesn’t intensify the build up of suspense, I don’t know what could lol. Exciting news! Nice weather for a biposto vid y’know wink

I know right!!! You’d think I live in a big stately home with a huge hanger.
The truth is I hate houses so so much. It’s a main part of my income so I’ve grown numb to them.
I bought my house just under 3 years ago and when it’s finished it’s extension it’ll be a 6 bed, 7 bathroom house. Plenty of room room for just the 3 of us.
I’m an Oldham lad originally, from a very council oriented neighbourhood, so I keep myself pretty grounded like that. I grew up with 5 people living in a 1300sqft house that was always filled with friends, my parents never locked the door because there was no point.
I personally don’t need a 10,000sqft house, I only live in a small part of my house anyway.
And besides that, you can’t put a house sideways into a corner haha.
So yeah I’d rather spend my money on cars.
As for putting my cars in a big hanger on my own grounds, I understand the reason why but I’ve already got a few hangar/units that I store my cars in.

Presumably insurance wise it’s better/ easier/ even a requirement(?) to not have them all in a single location?

Its italian.

Im thinking something Pagani flavoured. One of the special Zonda's?

Or a ridiculously rare Ferrari. 250gtb?
