Was on your insta earlier today (hskular): I've an old 993 and 550 Maranello and would happily join in during the summer. They're nothing in comparison to your fleet though!

Inspirational thread of the year imho.
Ahhhh you legend, two of my favourite cars in the world. Love them both. Yes, definitely. Let’s get this turned into something amazing. Imagine if we could get all those with beautiful cars to get together for a huge charity event. I’ve even got the venue for it too. My friends own a castle here in Cheshire so we could do it there.
Come on PH, let’s do this.
Pete

Anyways, since this thread is about my LFA, here it is at Topaz getting cleaned. Hope to have it back here before Xmas so I can get a few pics of if next to some other desirables.

Keep this updated about the car charity event and if I can make it work at all I will come over from Germany in the Scud or FF

I'm in with a manual 360 spider as long as the dates don't clash with a pre-booked holiday.

An inspirational thread and i think this has the potential to be an amazing event.

Maybe start a new thread for it? I'm sure it would be a huge turn out - and success.

If i'm not at work (14 week on / off) i'd love to help out with a pistonheads orientated one;

I know passenger rides in an Insignia won't be high on the list, but will volunteer for marshalling.
Well done for last night.

Pete - let me just add my comments of respect for what you've been through and thanks for what you have done and are doing for others. Really impressive and heart-warming stuff.
This is a great thread: fantastic cars and unselfish giving at its very best. Bravo.

Hey Pete, Jay was at Kaleigh's fundraiser tonight in Canary Wharf, also raising money from his yacht charters, a busy man doing amazing work. Kaleigh is a DIPG suffered- i posted about her a few pages back. Anyway, good on you, and also we're all here for the lfa, this thread just gives extra with the unexpected heart and hard work you're putting in for kids that need it. Thanks for all the joy of your car collection, and knowing there are some awesome people out there who choose to be awesome.

Hi Pete, I sent an email on Tuesday but perhaps it didn't get through to you, hope the event went well.

I'd gladly volunteer for marshalling along with the others on here. A Seat Ibiza is nothing to excite anyone for a passenger ride but I can certainly give my time at least.

Glad to see a good load of us here offering our help too, let's do some good!

What a genuine inspiration mate and an incredible story.

If you arrange a PH charity event, I would happily attend with a Lambo Superlegerra and a Group N Escort Cosworth Race Car.

Keep up the good work & thanks for the add on insta.

Excellent thread, Pete, and a wonderful collection you have going.

Ref fundraising rides in cars. Perhaps Sporting Bears is more up your street? They fundraise for childrens charities only, are based all around the country, and also do respite days for the kids that we raise funds for (pretty much non stop rides throughout the day for them in as many cars as possible).

Hi

like a lot of others have said, a brilliant thread. I would be happy to get involved, subject to dates of course, in the charity car thing. I could offer a ride in either a Lotus Carlton or 1968 Ford Cortina 1600e, or my daily F10 M5.

Sign me up.
