£357,676 not too bad really, it’s the import tax, duty tax, registration fee, vosa and dvla fees that make it very expensive. I only paid £375k for mine and that was with everything in, including the LFA private plate and a big service.

That empty feeling inside you get when you realise that in your lifetime you'll never be able to say:

I just wanna know what you do for work
I make cat calendars, not calendars with pictures of cats on it, but actually calendars for cats. There’s a real shortage of catendar makers out there (that’s what we call each other). So you know I’m doing alright haha, ok back to the cars. 2manycars said:

Fire some photos up of your 695, I used to have a Abarth 500c and it was a great laugh!
Hi Pete,
Just added you on Instagram if that’s ok? (thekarlhollings).
Fantastic thread and outlook on life. But despite all the fantastic cars, the best thing about this thread is that it’s not descended in to the usual argumentative drivel that has made me visit Pistonheads less and less recently. I can only guess that this is down to the positive attitude which you have used through out. Well done.

What an inspirational thread from an inspirational person!
For a long time I've wanted to use my talents, and the one thing that I hold most dear, time, to 'make a difference' or two. I don't have much, and I've got a lot to fix before I set out on similar albeit much smaller conquests. Everything in life that gets thrown at us shapes us to become who we are today. We may wish that that the worst things that nature or life in general has forced upon us never happened, but I for one would rather be in pain and experience the highs life has offered me than have no pain yet experience nothing at all. I'm sure many feel the same.
I'm grateful for my most loving and understanding wife, great friends, and to know the world has generous souls like you to fight back against the needy and greedy, and give back to those genuinely in need. All I ask is please keep us all up-to-date with charitable events for the PHers here, and I hope at the very least I can get the opportunity to participate. I'm shackled now and having these opportunities to participate is but one thing I'm hoping to fix soon.
I bet you find putting a smile on other peoples' faces gives you the biggest thrill...

I remember and interview with Eddie Irvine when he was driving in F1 - he had a tshirt on with the slogan “he who dies with the most toys wins”
I’m betting on you to win 😀
