There are several important life lessons in this thread
Not least that whenever you leave a 250 somewhere for some time, at least email yourself where it is. Or tell someone
I reckon ph will find it
Kind of didn’t have enough time to do that. Not when you’re being rushed down to theatre. Like I said, it’s not the most important thing to focus on in life, it’s just a car at the end of the day. I reckon ph will find it

Looked up the stats after Yipper's "slow" comment.
Yeah, only does 203mph,that's just not enough nowadays.......
Yeah but a mapped Golf R is just as fast right? Yeah, only does 203mph,that's just not enough nowadays.......
Pete, have a search on here for your Ferrari 250 GTE project in readers cars,if you haven't allready as it may jog you're memory.
You had it delivered to a Europarts depot in Halsted Essex from Italy,so the may have a forwarding address.
I'm thinking GTO engineering may have posted parts to where the car is stored. So you might have some luck with contacting them hopefully.
Good luck.
Great buy you have there.
All the best.

Link is not working for me.Also,Pete you were talking to Ferrari restorer on the thread called AndrewW-G.
Now he has not posted under that name since just after you fell ill maybe 6 months after.
He gave you a couple of links to is website.
It may be worth getting hold of him,as you may have been emailing him.

Pete, you sound like a top bloke and have experienced a few highs a lows that many of us will not have been privy to. Stay humble mate and keep sharing your experiences.
Also, please try and get a passenger to video you trolling Golf Rs (preferably mapped) and racing them from the traffic lights just to underline how good a car the LFA is.

Only 27 were ever sold in Europe - all had to be purchased from Lexus on Park Lane (now gone).
Had the privilege of driving Lexus Europes LFA many times on their track in Belgium, Estoril and Ascari - absolutely stunning car and drives like a go kart
27 possible chances to drive one. Excellent, that's better than expected.Had the privilege of driving Lexus Europes LFA many times on their track in Belgium, Estoril and Ascari - absolutely stunning car and drives like a go kart
What an awesome purchase!
I love the tractor too, i always thought in my head if i ever did reach the means to do so i'd love to get a Porsche and a Lambo tractor to sit and look at
I didnt know what to think of your misplaced 250 comment either but now i see its true it is rather amusing, im glad you can see it in such a way too, especially after going through something so bad! I look forward to the pictures of your LFA when you finally get it!

Absolutely amazing collection of cars and a carrera GT as well, I will look forward to that topic!
The LFA is an absolute holy grail car as far as I am concerned absolutely epic engine, I remember reading that they couldn’t use a traditional tacho because the engine revs too quickly, I just can’t imagine what it must be like as a driving experience... I guess I could always get a golf R as a more affordable way of experiencing this though...
