LSD works!

Must have been tricky to get the pound coin in the slot as you went round, because it looks like you've had about 50 attempts.... ;-)

Brilliant! Tbh I don't usually look at threads of cars I can't afford! But I really like this and like the way you have gone about making it your own and the attention to detail.
You must also be a good photographer as the photo's are another reason I keep looking at the thread as they are very good and the car just pops out in all of them. Wish I could take pictures like that as I don't do my car justice when I take them.
Interesting comment on affordability. I'm only 25, and only two years ago I couldn't have dreamed of affording the car. Lots of hard work and some luck (of course!) later, I have got myself into a position where I can enjoy myself with the car. Having said that, spending will unfortunately have to slow down on the car mods this year. Luckily I've done most things you can do already!

I'm a professional car photographer, so although most of the shots I take of my own car are just quick snaps, I occasionally use it as a practice subject.

When I was 25 I had nice cars but now I have a different life so can't spend much money on cars. Kids, house etc. I do have a nice car that gets money spent on it that involves an expensive sport that I would like to do more of but family life comes first now.
You can tell you are a professional photographer. I can do landscape and wildlife but can't get the hang of cars for some reason but I am still learning!

Car is looking stunning now, the details are fantastic.

Loving the Tillett seats - and I'm very much enjoying your old B5s in my MX5 biggrin

North coast 500? On my list for this year, wish it was in this beauty of a car though!

Wow, what an update! My envy grows stronger (both of the car, and your photography).

My 2p.. don’t paint the new wing. For one, it’s just far too good to slap paint on and two, in black it reminds me more of the early series 2 Exiges, with black wings (and side intakes and front splitter) that look so much better than an all-over colour.

That interior transformation is superb - it matches the quality of the exterior perfectly. The WANT is strong.

Wow, everything here is incredible, the car, the write up, the locations and that photography work!

Good effort.

The interior is dribble worthy.

Interior does look brilliant but I prefer the original wing. Horses for courses.

Top job GFWilliams.

In my opinion Lotus needs you to help out with introducing many of your improvements to the OEM package. Your work is showing them up tbh. Great work.

Little update...

Got some parts back from being anodised:

Gear Knob, which I then filled in the numbers in liquid yellow

Wing stays now in black
Looks great George. Where did you get the parts anodised? I’m not too far from you and have a couple of bits to do for my Caterham
Cheers

Malden Plating Works - I tried A1 Anodising and they didn't even start the process in a week and a half so I took it somewhere else...

Absolutely stunning car, and brilliant photography smile I can only imagine how epic those roads would have been in that car.
