I can see how you might feel aggrieved by my implication that all EJ25s are ticking time-bombs. However, it's hardly undocumented that these engines fail. at all ages and with little warning. I'm not making that up, and have experienced it first hand, to my (massive) cost. I think it's great that you've had a good one, and I'm sure anyone looking for an unmodified car will be delighted to find yours for sale.
However, I hope you understand that I have to justify my upgrades, how they've been chosen, and be very clear about the reasons for them, and why a buyer might want to take that into consideration when choosing a 2.5 STi.
Don't worry, there are still plenty buyers out there who wouldn't touch anything that has been modified. Good luck with your sale!

Have you had any interest? I've just bought a Boxster S for the summer but can't bring myself to try selling the Spec D after all the money I've chucked at it, so I've SORN'd it until autumn. If I thought I could even get £10k I'd think about selling, but any less and it's just not worth selling. Blown2CV said:

The ebay auction didn't work. Only traders bidding. However, my dad's offered to garage it and insure it for a while, so that takes care of my space and no-claims transfer issues. So another month is not a problem for me if you want a chat. PM me!TartanPaint said:
