Op, do you know if the 1990 car ran in its black and gold colours in the RAC (yes I know that it had become the Network Q by then, but that was never really quite right) the mid nineties?
This thread suddenly brings back memories of helping push one very much like that off the Chattsworth stage in probably 96 or 97.

Hi, no I don't think so. It raced twice in the RAC in 1990 and 2000.

In the UK it was in white Walkers livery and then Martini as you can see in the some the photos in the link I posted.

But can you get the weekly food shop in the boot?

Very unlikely; boot space is rubbish I recall.

On a side note, have just discovered that my old 16v non-Evo, which I sold 11 years ago and assumed had long gone to meet its maker, is still in existence and has a new MOT, 8 years after the previous one. Presumably it's now also worth slightly more than the 3 grand I sold it for!

What a couple of iconic cars... Watching Deltas blast round special stages as a kid led to me buying a HF turbo i.e. as my first car. I'd dearly love another one, but there are virtually no RHD Deltas left, and Integrales are going nuts in value.

I think this thread might just win pistonheads!

Wonderful cars, and it must be something special to own two of them. Thank you for sharing, and please keep this thread updated in the future.

Fabulous! Big fan of the integrale and have been the very proud owner of a 1993 Monza Red Evo 2 for the last 10 years.

Look forward to hearing more about these two and perhaps seeing them in action.

To whet your appetite, there's some quite nice footage of Justin Law at Cholmondley here. Skip to 4:00 mins in and turn the sound up!

Not its most important event by any means, but here's the Juha Kankunen car at the 1997 Mintex Rallysprint at Silverstone; I have often wondered whether Steve Smith still had it, or indeed if it was still in the UK:

Probably most of the survivors would be HF Turbos?

There are a handful of each model, but yes, something like 50% of the total will be HF Turbos.

Wow! Many thanks for the photos, I didn't have any of this event. Brilliant.

2 pages in and no-one has congratulated the owner on having the spoilers in "full wker position" yet??

Well done that man...
Fwp is the only way to run around in a delta.

I've always loved that saying for the rear spoiler.

Every delta enthusiast has heard of it too lol!
