I did see you mentioned selling it - Hopefully revoked that thought now

So it's been a while since I've updated this, no real changes made to the car as i'm so happy with it at the moment. Just been maintaining and enjoying it as much as possible.

Since the last update I have done another track day at Snetterton where once again the car performed faultlessly and impressed quite a few people, always nice hearing what people think of the car!

Also managed to squeeze another Nurburgring trip in before the end of the year, although the weather wasn't in our favor it was still a brilliant trip. only managed to do 4 laps as the weather wouldn't allow anymore with lots of track closures. I'll leave a load of picture below from the trip and various other drives.

Great thread and I really like the way you have the car looking - I am now looking on autotrader looking at them
Great cars indeed and funnily enough I saw my old one on Autotrader a couple of days ago - it's the black one up at £2,989. I got rid of it at 49,000 miles I think.

They certainly are a good bunch, all have been setup well with decent parts! I was lucky to have the keys chucked to me by my mate in the Megane, i’ve always fancied one of these as a next car so i’m glad I did. Although it was fast, it lacked something the Lupo has. It almost felt too easy, like you’d expect it to almost. I got back in the Lupo after and was instantly reminded why i’ve had it so long.

My friend did the same with his well sorted 182. Sold it for a megane 275, did the belts, box & fitted nice tyres with brakes went the ring and sold it as it was too easy and lacked something. Now has a clio 200 and loves it more.

This is my worry if i was to move on to something else. I’m not surprised by him loving the Clio, i’ve drove the one in the pictures several times and always enjoy it. Although the straight line speed is identical to mine, it definitely feels a better chassis and better balance than mine.

Just a few new pictures of the interior, so happy with how the interior is. Driving position is absolutely bang on now.

Gosh looking at that interior brings back some happy memories!

I think my Lupo GTI was my favourite car out of all those I've had.

Just wow!!!!
I love what you have done especially to the interior!

I also had an Lupo GTI, a black one with heated black leather seats, automatic AC, glass sunroof and factory GPS.
It was an absolute gem, and I wish I haven't sold it now....

Only one thing I would change with yours: A steering wheel with red stitching and 12 o'clock marking to match the rest of the car wink

Thanks for all the comments, they really are unique little cars!

I actually quite like the yellow as it matches the OMP yellow on my harnesses, i think if it was all red it would be a bit much.

Nothing too exciting to update on, just been driving and maintaning the car exactly how it should. I had to replace the alternator a few weeks ago as that decided to fail on me, very easy job to do though luckily. I've also just got myself a brand new set of Nankang AR1's to try on the warmer sunny days and track days. Heard good things about these so looking forward to trying them! Already got a Nurburgring ring trip booked for July and potentially a trip over on easter weekend.

I'll leave a few recent pictures below smile

Thanks for the updates, please keep them coming.

Excellent photos, as well. It's nice when somebody goes the extra mile to make the thread easy to look at - well done.

Perfect mate. Just the right amount of aggression, without adding a wang and canards.

Also had my wheel done by RSW recently, same colours too.

Keep it up.
