I've not watched M6 prices since I was looking at them a few years ago but yours sounds pretty attractively priced to me. Could it be the case that it's maybe priced a little too low? I know people who just won't look at the cheapest few options on any car because they think cheap = wonky. Obviously that's not the case with yours but if it's appearing at the lowest end of the range, especially with so few miles on the clock, maybe that's putting possible buyers off?

Hi, well the car is currently warrantied and it’s fully transferable to a new Owner so I would imagine that would be a plus.

These are all selling points to catch that one single fish. He or she or heshe is most likely out there looking for a safe bet... with my 645Ci (Spanish, to adopt the PH parlance for manual), I presented the invoices in a folder in chronological order and there was no negotiation. Point them to the things that assure (warranty) and appeal (Sunny Scottish roads) then point them to your thread, which can't be faked.
Well my era of M6 ownership has come to an end...but I’m really happy about it.
It was most certainly a melancholy feeling watching the car drive away in the hands of its new owner. I was even harder when a moment later he did another drive-by for me!
However it is so pleasing to know it has gone to an enthusiast who is going to love, cherish and develop this car in his ownership.
Anyway, you’ll all no doubt be the car’s new Owner is a PH’er and previous contributor to this thread. I’ll let him introduce himself but he’s going to keep you all up to date with the car’s progress either via this project thread or one of his own.
It has been a pleasure having the M6 but the use it was getting now was not what it was bought for and I would end up ruining a lovely car for the sake of a longer commute.
The replacement car is an Audi SQ5. Much more ‘dad’ car but still fun and far more suitable for the new circumstances of my commute.
It’s not fabulously exciting so probably won’t be the topic of a project thread. I may well start one for my classic 911 though which I have a few wee jobs to do to.

I can confirm, I am the new owner of James B's M6.
I have been contemplating an M6 for the last 8 months or so, my 650i went to a lovely chap on here. I knew I had to get this one with all the right 'signals', or regret missing out.
The V10 is a truely exotic experience, the sound it makes and the deceptive way it builds speed over 100. Hoping for a good few years of enjoyment and smiles, probably a few tears as part of the course though!
My 93 year old Father had his first ride out in it as part of Father's Day, as a non-car guy, even he could appreciate the experience.
My first plan is to try and get the paintwork up to my standards, as there are quite a few small battlescars from its previous London life
