I've been to Murghab and I can confirm that 1) it's a hell of an adventure to get that far and 2) it is not somewhere you want to spend any length of time. It is the second-worst place I have ever been, after Stevenage.

I’m absolutely delighted (and amazed) that they made it to the finish line!!!

So this notoriously unreliable, small, gutless city car has gone from Scotland to the Sahara Desert and back again - and then from Scotland to Ulan-ude. Incredible!
