Aye does the job nicely, thought about the RS lookalike style but just makes sense keeping it standard looking. Probably find a front wing in black in a scrap yard for 5 quid

Fact you just said that, it's inevitable you'll go the Elite route

But just remember, although it's an epic piece of kit, you have to ask yourself why Punton's Escort keeps coming back up for sale on Ebay. Perfect in all aspects, but a sequential for road use just gets annoying and difficult after a while. Track though, phenomenal!
Punton, I know that fella.

Yes, that is all true, I will not do that many miles in my car as it is just a toy, I was close to doing the sequential a while back and talked myself out of it...On track it would be the ultimate, I will see how much track time it does.

Yours looks fun on Track

Cheers. Just waiting on harder coil springs now to stiffen up and reduce a bit more roll. Then it's just usual oil changes and count down to Nurburg smile

Always nice when you get a pass ! I assume the tester knows the car and didn't get a shock when he looked underneath ?

Nice one, this is what I expected when the Focus RS was first suggested in the late 90s/00s.

Lovely car, you can see how much work has gone into it.

That diff is a work of art.

Great stuff - there was a similar idea RWD Mk2 Focus + 4.0 turbo straight 6 (from a Falcon) competing in tarmac rallying here for a while, quite a weapon.

Yeah, I miss that car. Was a good one. Far too normal for me though

@ Ben

There's a few over here, this one's the most notable with close to 1000bhp and pretty much WRC spec.

Sorry to be the pedantic one, but the AG Motorsport car isn't actually a Focus in any way, it's a spaceframed prototype with carbon Focus WRC bodypanels draped over the top.

Potato, potata lol Either way, it is what it is. I'm just pointing out a well known Focus. Mine no longer resembles a Focus underneath either, but a far difference from Charlie's car.

A few other notable ones that are more like mine are here:
