Thank you Ken, Spinakerr and EdmondDantes. It was a pleasure to meet the latter of you two, sorry we didn’t spend more time chatting ED, hopefully we’ll have another chance to meet up, perhaps in Glasgow. Top effort to you and your brother for the drive down and back up. You defo need an E500 estate for that journey!

Nice! Seven seats, semi aniline leather, vented/dynamic front seats and a wood leather steering wheel!

Any photos of the interior and is the stowage box still present?

Is the Semi Aniline Leather an option?

Ooh, good point. Unless someone geeks me out and posts, I'll have to check the original brochure...

WOW. Amazing picture.

@BM I now badly need to book mine in for paint correction. And wheel refurb. The difference is immense.

The interior is challenged. I need a good used rear seat and drivers seat but that will be impossible because of the trim. A dog has been is the car and done some damage. The stowage box is missing but I never liked using in my old E320.

I believe its Nappa at least on the face of the seats. I need to know if it was an option independent of having cooled seats.

The blue would look fantastic. It’s the parts that the camera lens doesn’t capture, such as the glisten of the Obsidian shimmering under lights that are really satisfying and just for me

It’s Palma Grey with nappa. Standard with Avantegarde. Both the dynamic and the cooled seats are separate options.

I’ll get around to the write up for PH25 and the round trip. For now, I’ve been getting the car prepared for a drive to Provence.

Hi BM, I've only posted on here once before but I feel compelled to tell you how impressed I was with your car on Saturday, it certainly was a testament to the level of effort you have put into the car!

I am also posting as I have an s211 e500 (2004) but I am struggling to have a fault fixed presently; the issue is that the car sits slightly low on the near side rear permanently and when left, it sinks. My mercedes specialist have checked for leaks, electrical issues etc but cannot find the fault. Therefore, I am just going to change the rear bags and see whether that solves it. I consulted Arnot's website and they advised to use Arnott A-2724. However, on arrival, my mechanic informs me these will not fit. He then goes on to say mercedes don't have any stock of their airbags and he doesn't know what to do. Please can you confirm which bags you or any other readers with e500 estates confirmed what you have used in the past?

Kind regards,

Will.
