Right time, right price

Loved every minute of it but haven’t used it much in last year. Clio/track time getting all my attention at the moment

Plus fancy one of these:

Sad to hear you've sold the wagon, but understandable reasons too smile Haven't seen you post much over on the 5 forums lately, so had guestimated it'd sold

The 'replacement' would be such a cool car to have; I've lusted after one of those ever since I was a teen; alas I cannot fit in one now, they're just not designed for people of my height and width rolleyesmadbiggrin

Those wheels look about 1/4” wider than the originals. I hope that doesn’t cause you problems with... oh I don’t know... a brick wall or something?

New toy arrives: 22 years I’ve wanted one of these (since first seeing one in Autocar as a 14 year old)

Finally:

Absolutely in love! Drives beautifully - surprisingly comfy and refined but still brutal when needed.

Can’t stop looking at it to be honest!

Absolutely - dad and I both 5’11 - anymore and it would just be too small to be comfy!

A sublime read! Sat here in my lockdown slippers, sipping a giant mug of coffee (not laced with whisky, yet) and thoroughly gripped by your car history!

As a BMW man at heart...you've had some fantastic machinery!

Do you know this morning went I went to put the pics of this mornings Clio work on and I thought to myself why do I bother putting this stuff up.... but of one person has enjoyed a good read that’s definitely worth it!

Love the breadvan OP!

When I first started driving there was an Estroil Blue Z3M Coupe that used to hoon it round the Ashford Ring Road..

It was easier to slow down and get caught at the traffic lights and wait for him to come back round, rather than try to keep up with him in my 1.1 206 laugh

MrTouring please keep posting - your Imola Red Z3MC is just stunning. thumbup

I would have loved one of those, but sadly I can't ever see one being in budget for me. rolleyes

Still I did buy a Z4MC in December so I can share the love for the S54 engine - even if I can only use it to go to Tescos for now!

You wouldn’t think that If you saw it at the moment! It got caught at the start of lockdown at a mates garage mid-tidy up and is now looking sorry for itself until this all blows over and it can get all its bits back!

I do love a well sorted Z4MC - underated car in my opinion!

Until I get it back though my Clio is getting all the attention!

Couldn't agree more, speaking of which did MDifficult have a go at your steering wheel over the weekend as well as the outside? That yellow area looks filthy and would do my head in more than the clock surround (which now looks lovely tbf)
