Remind me, what lowering kit is on it? I didn't want to go aftermarket so have decided that the Competition pack (of which they did 100 M6) springs are the way to go for me as I too want to retain the way it handles. The drop they give is moderate (10mm i think) and obviously within BMW's standards.

It's a shame that you need to raise it but absolutely understandable as, certainly for me, the driving experience trumps the looks of a car.

It has H&R 35mm springs up front and then the SLS lowered 20mm at the rear.

The front is ok, but the rear really struggles to remain composed as its the air suspension trying to keep up! . I guess on a saloon which would have H&R springs all round this would be less of an issue. Same in your M6 as it would be springs all round. Competition pack may well be the way forward.

I'm hoping raising back to its standard height - about 20mm up will resolve this and hopefully it will still look pretty mean!

Great blast out this morning with MDifficult and his GP - enjoying the B4494!

Then back to wash cars, sort garage electrics/lights and get everything tucked up for autumn

So the Bad news is the Clio is french so I’ve had all sorts of electrical fun in the last week.

The Good news is the Clio is french so disconnecting and reconnecting the battery makes me the equivalent of a automotive electrical genius!

Still loving it though!

Remember seeing your thread last year as loved all the cars. I owned an E24 in the same colour as that as one of my first cars and it was amazing. Also went onto an E39 touring and to this day it was one of my favourite cars that I should never have sold.

The 944 and the Clio 200 are cars I wish to own or at least give them a good run out on favourite roads.

The Clio is a revelation! Just demolished any road you put in front of it. Drive one before you die!

Also took the family and the 944 out to the New Years meet at the Pheonix

Saw some great cars there and had a great time! Well recommended way to start the year!
