So what's behind the decision to sell. Is the M5 V10 a bit unusable on the road?

The plate on the M5 is brilliant.

Top marks!

To be honest I’ll be happy if it stays - but I think it’s one of those cars you have to put up for sale before you want it gone, can’t imagine it going quickly.

Spent the day driving and cleaning it and I still love it to bits. Just quite a lot of car to have sitting around not being used regularly.

Very nice collection of cars.

I had M5 SMG number plate on mine, looked great, that V10 just kept on pulling, felt like you were going to headbutt the horizon!

Sad to see this up for sale; I've enjoyed the pics over on the 5 forums wink

I've put a link up on there for you in the eBay/Autotrader section, but you're a fully paid member on there too IIRC so feel free to get it advertised on there as well smile

Brilliant day at Bedford in the Clio.

It’s such an impressive little car. Such good fun on the track and then lovely and comfy all the way home.

Akrapovic sounded mental on the paddock straight I’m told!

Javelin had a photographer there so should be some good action shots at some point

Also: I obviously came away with a healthy shopping list!

Tyres being first and then coil overs

Also obviously still some kind of sticker theme - the JPS Clio at the track was awesome!

Taxed the 944 yesterday so Dad and I thought we’d stretch the oldies legs with a morning run to the Solent for a breakfast bap.

It’s a run I’ve done many time is the M5 and the Clio and it’s was equally brilliant in these old boys! 6ix down there and the 944 on the way back. No idea which I prefer, they’re both great. 6ix is all brawn and the 944 light on its feet.

Great morning runout.

What a nice series of cars you’ve had. My dad has various BMW and Porsche’s as I grew up, and it’s nice to see how this goes on to the next generation as it has with me. Unfortunately my Porsche’s are gone now in favour for my 340 touring as we’ve got children and trips with them to do, but I can definitely see myself getting a nice project car from my childhood one day.
Cheers

So I’ve put Cup2s on the front for now and initial thoughts are that they are superb and make an already pointy front end ultra responsive. Grip is sensational. Love em!

Also been adding a bit or track tartery which I think looks good!

So the M5 is gone and I’m very sad.

But these arrived for the Clio to cheer me up a little.......

Right time, right price

Loved every minute of it but haven’t used it much in last year. Clio/track time getting all my attention at the moment

Plus fancy one of these:
