Not got that car back today, hopefully tomorrow or Thursday, else it's going to cause me a major headache due to the MOT running out on Friday.
Can’t the garage doing the work sort the MOT out for you? Most garages even if they don’t do MOT’s themselves know someone who does.

No idea. Thing is regardless, I need the car back for Friday as I am supposed to be going away at the weekend and didn't anticipate not having it. I've also prepaid for the MOT so I would potentially lose that.

Definitely lucky! But I am now being plagued by bad luck as I am still sans the car. I should have picked it up on Sunday but some unforseen circumstances kicked in that were out of control for the company doing the work.

The 4.8 is a decent engine I understand. I wouldn't wait too long as they seem to be depreciating less now.

Nice, the 5/650i is probably the best of both worlds.

Hopefully this weekend after passing its MOT and trip to see my mum, a trip to Withernsea, Bridlington and Scarborough, weather permitting and hopefully some pics. I have some further plans in the pipeline, nothing huge, but I will be keeping the thread updated. Quite a lot has happened in my short ownership time.

Wednesday collection now - unfortunately an unforeseen family emergency is what delayed it. I'm not getting angry about it, family is more important and this is just a car. I will cope without it for another weekend.

I guess I should have clarified it wasn't with me, but with the guy doing the work, but I believe that things are improving!

The car is home, so good to have it back. Need to do a few bits like wash it and regas the AC as it's not blowing cold anymore but very happy with the work and just glad to have it back now. Peace of mind

I took it there at the start of the month. Next trip out for it might be a coast run weekend after next and then middle of the month a run to Newquay for my hol.

For fk sake! fking fuming this morning, absolutely apoplectic with rage.

Started the car, just got it off my drive way, moved it to manual and it threw up a fking charge fault error. It was fine for the drive home on Tuesday so you can imagine my surprise at seeing this come up today. I had to park the car up and take the wife's car to work instead. Really fked off.
