Stunning Cars aren't they.
I have the UK spec version, the 'Veloce' we don't get the adaptive dampers as standard over here and can't have the same wheel option as you have either, which pisses a lot of people off. Sometimes we feel ARUK do everything they can to make life difficult.

But having had the gripe, the Cars itself is totally brilliant, Evo magazine thought so too when they handed Sports Saloon of the Year to the Veloce and Super-sport Saloon to the QF.

If you are in the market for a Saloon Car and have even half a Petrolheads mind set you would be mad not to be looking very very hard at a Giulia.

I went out 2 weekends ago for a drive on one of the more empty end scenic roads around the Bay Area. Setting off around 6:30am; I covered nearly 200miles in a morning. Great fun! I took some pics along the way, as way of an update.

Still really enjoying the car. It’s dynamically fantastic, engaging and truly never dull, although, I am beginning to realize that it’s probably not big enough! What it does lack in SUV-style space, it truly makes up for in style and drivability.

Who needs space when your car looks this good anyway?

Hi all, no real updates regarding the Giulia. It’s approaching a year since I picked it up, and I’ve done about a third of the mileage I signed up for in my lease, which is disappointing, but at least the vast majority of those miles have been for pleasure, and not commuting! I’m hoping to get more under my belt in the second year!

The car really is fantastic; engaging, nimble and gets lots of attention, despite it not being the Quadrifoglio. But I’m certainly missing the manual box I had in all my other cars before this one; there’s just something about it DIY’ing it that an auto can never make up for, no matter how good the auto, and this one is very good!

Anyway, I had some fun in the car last weekend, and thought I’d take a few more photos.

Such a beautiful car, that's going to be my next car, after my Giulietta.

It's a shame about the lack of manual transmission though. I could even do with a base spec petrol, if it just had a manual gearbox.
